Its eight encounters offer boss drops alongside separate class-quest rewards, set pieces, and other rewards. Below is a boss-by-boss lookup of documented weapon drops, followed by what to know about the raid’s other loot.
Sunken Temple boss loot: weapon examples by encounter
The table lists weapon-to-boss examples reported by Wowhead from user-submitted Wowhead Client data. It is not a complete raid loot catalog, and the source does not establish drop rates.
| Boss | Documented weapon examples |
|---|---|
| Atal’alarion | Temple Explorer’s Gun Axe — two-hand gun axe |
| Festering Rotslime | Blistering Ragehammer — two-hand mace |
| Hazzas | Ancient Divining Rod — two-hand staff |
| Shade of Eranikus | Dragon’s Cry — one-hand sword; Nightmare Focus Staff — two-hand staff |
| Avatar of Hakkar | Spire of Hakkari Worship — two-hand staff |

Set pieces and bonuses
The raid added new set pieces with three-piece bonuses. Consider a piece in relation to the other pieces available to your character, rather than treating each drop as an isolated upgrade. The overview does not provide enough item-level detail to establish best-in-slot rankings or compare specific stats.

Class-quest rewards
Class-quest rewards are not boss drops. Wowhead’s overview says the quests award all three listed rewards for a class, rather than making players choose one. For example, the Warrior rewards listed are Diamond Flask, Fury Visor, and Razorsteel Shoulders; the Warlock rewards are Soul Harvester, Abyss Shard, and Robes of Servitude. These belong in a quest-reward lookup, not the boss table.
Other rewards
The overview also notes revamped quest rewards, epic rings selectable after completing “A Broken Ritual,” and Nightmare Seeds used in epic crafting and an alchemy recipe. It does not establish the items’ current stats or drop chances.

Boss order and raid context
Blizzard announced Phase 3’s first 20-player raid on April 4, 2024, with eight bosses and new rewards. Wowhead describes the raid as level-50 content. Its encounter sequence is:
- Atal’alarion
- Festering Rotslime
- Atal’ai Defenders
- Dreamscythe and Weaver
- Jammal’an and Ogom
- Morphaz and Hazzas
- Shade of Eranikus
- Avatar of Hakkar
Avatar of Hakkar is the final encounter. For any item not shown in the weapon examples, use the linked raid loot table to check its listed source rather than assuming it drops from a particular boss.

How to evaluate an item for your character
- Check the source: Distinguish a boss drop from a class-quest reward or other reward.
- Match the slot and role: Compare the item with what your character can use and the slot it would replace.
- Account for set bonuses: A piece may matter because it completes or advances a three-piece bonus.
- Verify current item details: The cited weapon-source post is historical, and the available evidence does not establish current stats, drop rates, or best-in-slot rankings.
Lockout timing is historical information
Wowhead’s April 2024 guide described a weekly reset following an opening five-day lockout. That is launch-period guidance, not confirmation of the live schedule; check the game’s current raid reset timing before planning a run.
