WWE 2K25 is out on PlayStation, Xbox, PC and Nintendo Switch 2. The Standard Edition launched March 14, 2025; the Deadman and The Bloodline digital editions arrived March 7, and the Switch 2 version followed July 23. Its announced roster includes more than 300 playable characters. The original pre-order offers have expired, so a copy currently on sale should not be assumed to include those bonuses.
When did WWE 2K25 come out, and what platforms is it on?
2K announced the game on January 28, 2025. The Standard Edition launched worldwide on March 14, 2025, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC via Steam. The Deadman Edition and The Bloodline Edition were digitally available from March 7. Nintendo Switch 2 received its version on July 23, 2025. 2K’s release announcement and its Switch 2 announcement provide the platform and date details.

Who is on the WWE 2K25 roster?
2K described WWE 2K25 as having the franchise’s largest roster to date, with more than 300 playable characters. The announced roster spans current Superstars, Legends and Hall of Famers. Examples include Cody Rhodes, Liv Morgan, Rey Mysterio, Bret “Hit Man” Hart, Jacob Fatu, Rob Van Dam, Naomi, Ethan Page, Lita, LA Knight, Chyna, Batista, Nia Jax and Becky Lynch. These names are examples, not a complete roster transcription.
The Showcase announcement calls out several first-time additions: Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, the Wild Samoans, The Islanders, The Headshrinkers, Oba Femi, Ethan Page, Sol Ruca, Kelani Jordan and Alundra Blayze. The count of more than 300 is 2K’s publisher-reported figure in its March 7, 2025 launch announcement.

What is new in WWE 2K25?
The Bloodline’s Dynasty Showcase
Paul Heyman hosts a Showcase focused on The Bloodline’s dynasty. The mode lets players revisit or reshape key family rivalries and matches, with the roster announcement also highlighting family members and groups making their series debut.
New match types and returning mechanics
New match options include Underground, Bloodline Rules and intergender matches. Chain Wrestling, a mechanic absent from recent entries, returns.

MyRISE, Universe and Creation Suite
MyRISE has an updated storyline, Universe mode adds Promos, and the Creation Suite remains a core way to customize wrestlers and other game content. The announcements identify these as changes or features, but do not establish a full list of every mode-specific adjustment.
The Island
The Island is an interactive environment built around districts, quests, challenges, events, customization and player interaction. 2K originally specified it for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S; do not assume it is available on PS4, Xbox One or PC based on that announcement.

Switch 2 play and connectivity
2K says the Switch 2 release supports the game’s full set of modes and match types. Offline play is available for offline modes; online modes require an internet connection. This does not mean every online feature can be used offline.
Which WWE 2K25 edition includes what?
2K’s January 2025 announcement listed these launch prices in US dollars. They are historical announcement prices, not verified current prices; availability and pricing can vary by platform, retailer and region.

The Undertaker mask’s platform restriction applies specifically to The Island; the announcement does not describe it as a universal cosmetic for all platforms. The Bloodline Edition’s Nation of Domination Pack and Ringside Pass are separate additions.
Are WWE 2K25 pre-order bonuses still available?
No. The original pre-order offer ended March 13, 2025, and the separate Switch 2 pre-order offer ended July 22, 2025. The original Standard Edition offer included the Wyatt Sicks Pack—Uncle Howdy, Dexter Lumis, Nikki Cross, Joe Gacy and Erick Rowan—plus specified Island cosmetics on supported platforms. Deadman and The Bloodline editions included the pack. The Switch 2 offer’s stated deadline also passed.
For physical pre-orders, 2K said bonus items would be redeemed in-game with a code supplied in the box; digital pre-orders were entitled to the items automatically in-game. That historical policy does not establish that a physical copy currently for sale still has an unused code. Check the listing and code status rather than assuming a bonus is included.
What did WWE 2K25 cost at launch?
At announcement, 2K listed the Standard Edition at $69.99, Deadman Edition at $99.99 and The Bloodline Edition at $129.99. These are the 2025 US-dollar launch-announcement prices, not current offers or a guarantee of the price in another region. Current pricing and edition availability must be confirmed on the relevant store or retailer page.
