What arrived on July 24
Activision’s Season 5 announcement, published July 17, 2024, set the launch for 9 a.m. PT on Wednesday, July 24, across all platforms for Modern Warfare III, Warzone and Warzone Mobile. It named three WWE performers: Rhea Ripley, Cody Rhodes and Rey Mysterio.

Rhea Ripley was part of the Battle Pass
Ripley appeared as a Battle Pass Operator. The announcement identified Rhodes and Mysterio as Store bundle content instead, so the three performers were not all presented through the same route.

The date in the headline marks Season 5’s launch, not the start of every WWE feature. Activision said the WWE SummerSlam in-game event would begin July 31, 2024. Slam Deathmatch was an in-season Multiplayer mode available only during that event.

What the Cody Rhodes and Rey Mysterio bundles included
Activision’s July 23 bundle announcement described Operator Bundles with cosmetic items and finishing moves:
- Cody Rhodes: an Operator Skin, two weapon blueprints, a charm, sticker, large decal, loading screen and the “Cross Rhodes” Finishing Move.
- Rey Mysterio: an Operator Skin, two weapon blueprints, a Finishing Move, decal, sticker, charm and loading screen.
These were in-game items, not physical WWE merchandise. The announcements do not say that buying a physical copy of Modern Warfare III included either Store bundle.

Can you still get the bundles?
The 2024 announcements establish what the bundles contained when they were introduced, but do not confirm whether they remain available in the Store today. Check the in-game Store for current availability before planning a purchase; a physical game listing is not evidence that it includes these cosmetics.
