Xbox Free Play Days ran from July 10 through July 13, 2025, and has ended. The four-game lineup had different access rules: RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition required a listed Game Pass plan, MLB The Show 25 and Polterguys: Possession Party were open to all Xbox members, and Blasphemous was a two-hour trial.

Did Free Play Days require Game Pass?
Not for every game. RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition was the only title in this lineup tied to a listed Game Pass membership: Ultimate, Standard, or Core. MLB The Show 25 and Polterguys: Possession Party were available to try for all Xbox members without those plans. Blasphemous was also open to all Xbox members, but only as a two-hour timed trial.
How would players find the games?
During the event, Xbox Wire directed players to each game’s Xbox.com details page, which leads to Microsoft Store. On Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, the console route was the Xbox Store’s Subscriptions tab, then the Free Play Days collection. For the listed Game Pass installation option, players needed to be signed in.

Could players keep progress after a trial?
Xbox Wire said that purchasing a game or another edition would let players continue playing while retaining Gamerscore and achievements earned during the event. The post also cautioned that offers and availability could vary by title and region. Its July 2025 promotion details—including a RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 discount—were limited to that historical period and should not be treated as current offers.
