Xbox announces Game Pass additions in rolling waves, so there is no verified, complete January–December 2026 calendar in the official announcements summarized here. As of October 8, the latest listed wave schedules nine additions for October 8–16. This calendar separates confirmed announcements from event mentions and identifies where a date, tier, or current availability is not established.
October 2026: nine additions scheduled for October 8–16
Xbox Wire’s October 7 announcement names the following games in its October 8–16 wave. The schedule excerpt identifies the overall date range, not an individual date for each title.

Xbox’s announcement specifies platform and membership eligibility title by title; those details are not uniform across the wave. The entries above include the tier information available here for Battlefield 6 and Neon Abyss 2, rather than assuming the same access for every game.
Other confirmed 2026 announcements
These are selected announcements found across the year, not a complete annual ledger. Where the announcement details available here do not establish an exact release date, tier, or present catalog status, the table says so rather than inferring it.

How to check what is coming next
- Open the official Xbox Game Pass catalog. Use its “Coming to Game Pass” filter to see currently listed upcoming additions.
- Check the game’s own listing. Confirm the date, supported platform, and eligible tier for that title instead of applying another game’s details to it.
- Separate additions from other announcements. An Xbox release or event showcase does not, by itself, confirm Game Pass inclusion. Treat a game as confirmed for the service only when Xbox names it as a Game Pass addition.
- Recheck close to the date. Release dates can change, and catalog status is dynamic. Xbox’s “Next Week on Xbox” feature notes that release dates may change.
Why this is not an exhaustive 2026 calendar
The selected official announcements provide useful confirmed examples, but they do not establish every 2026 wave—particularly for January through April and August through September. January’s Developer_Direct recap mentioned Fable, Forza Horizon 6, Beast of Reincarnation, and Kiln, and said Gears of War: E-Day and Halo: Campaign Evolved were still to come. Those event mentions alone do not confirm Game Pass availability or a current upcoming status. Likewise, the June showcase covered Xbox releases without establishing that every game shown was coming to Game Pass.
For a reliable calendar entry, use the latest official Game Pass announcement or catalog listing and record its stated date or window, platform, eligible tier, and whether the game is upcoming or already available. If a source does not give a date, use “date TBA” rather than guessing.
