Xbox Wire’s official announcement provides the claim dates, individual ERPs, and descriptions. The combined value and Gamerscore figures were reported by Windows Central.
When Games with Gold ended and what replaced it
Three dates mark the end of the program: the final games’ claim period closed August 31, 2023; Games with Gold ended September 1; and Xbox Live Gold memberships began transitioning to Game Pass Core on September 14. These were separate milestones, not one single cutoff date.

What happened to games already redeemed?
Players who had redeemed Games with Gold titles could continue accessing them while subscribed to Game Pass Core or Game Pass Ultimate. The final August offers, however, are no longer claimable through Games with Gold.
