For a Gujarati video recorded at 1920×1080 and 25 fps, set the encoder to 1920×1080 at 25 fps to preserve the file’s native motion cadence. YouTube does not publish a bitrate recommendation specifically for 1080p25, so do not treat its 1080p30 figures as an exact 25 fps setting. For a conventional SDR stream, use H.264, CBR, a 2-second keyframe interval, progressive scan, square pixels, Rec. 709, 8-bit video, and AAC stereo at 44.1 kHz/128 kbps. Use RTMPS if your encoder supports it.
Recommended encoder settings
| Setting | Choice for a 1080p25 source | Important detail |
|---|---|---|
| Resolution | 1920×1080 | YouTube automatically detects resolution and frame rate by default. A custom stream key can enable manual resolution settings. |
| Frame rate | 25 fps | Matching the source preserves its motion cadence. YouTube supports frame rates up to 60 fps, but does not require converting a 25 fps recording to 30 fps. |
| Video codec | H.264 for conventional compatibility | YouTube lists H.264, H.265/HEVC, and AV1 for RTMP/RTMPS. Choose a codec your encoder and account support. |
| Rate control | CBR | This is YouTube’s general encoder recommendation. |
| Keyframes | Every 2 seconds | YouTube recommends a 2-second interval and says not to exceed 4 seconds. At 25 fps, 2 seconds equals 50 frames. |
| Picture format | Progressive scan, square pixels, Rec. 709, 8-bit | These are YouTube’s advanced settings for SDR. |
| Stereo audio | AAC, 44.1 kHz, 128 kbps | YouTube also lists MP3 for stereo. AAC is required for its 5.1 RTMP option. |
| Transport | RTMPS, when available | YouTube recommends the encrypted RTMP option. |
YouTube transcodes incoming live video into multiple playback formats. Viewers may therefore see a playback resolution different from the encoder’s incoming 1080p feed.
Choosing a bitrate when the source is 25 fps
YouTube’s current published bitrate table includes 1080p30 and 1080p60 rows, but no 1080p25 row. The 30 fps values below are references only, not a published recommendation for 25 fps.
| YouTube-published format | Minimum bitrate | Recommended bitrate |
|---|---|---|
| 1080p30, H.264 | 5 Mbps | 14 Mbps |
| 1080p30, AV1 or H.265 | 4 Mbps | 10 Mbps |
| 1080p60, H.264 | 6 Mbps | 17 Mbps |
| 1080p60, AV1 or H.265 | 4 Mbps | 12 Mbps |
For 1080p25, use the 1080p30 row for your chosen codec as a nearby point of reference, not as an exact 25 fps rule. Select a bitrate your internet upload connection can sustain consistently, then test the actual stream with representative motion and audio. YouTube advises checking upload bitrate and monitoring stream health.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Connect the encoder in YouTube Studio
- Create or schedule the event. In YouTube Studio, open Live Control Room and create or schedule the stream. Scheduling lets you promote the event and offer reminders.
- Copy the connection details. Open the stream settings, copy the stream URL and stream key, and enter them in your encoder. Keep the key private: it works like a password. If it is compromised, YouTube provides an option to reset it.
- Set the encoder output. Choose 1920×1080 and 25 fps to match the source. Unless you need manual resolution settings, YouTube recommends leaving resolution and frame-rate detection on automatic.
- Send a test feed. Check picture, motion, audio, the Live Control Room preview, and stream health before the event. YouTube advises setting up the encoder at least 2 hours in advance and starting it at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start.
- Start and end the event deliberately. For a scheduled stream, wait for the feed to appear in Live Control Room preview, then select Go live. When finished, stop the stream in YouTube and stop sending content from the encoder. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived.
What to check in a Gujarati recording
YouTube’s cited encoder guidance does not specify different codec, frame-rate, or bitrate settings for Gujarati. The language does not change these technical settings. During the test, listen to the actual Gujarati narration and any accompanying music to confirm they are intelligible and balanced; this is a practical content check, not a separate YouTube language-specific requirement.
Run a pre-recorded video as a scheduled live event
The encoder workflow above applies when the recording is sent to YouTube as a live feed: create or schedule the event in Live Control Room, connect an encoder with the stream URL and key, and verify the preview before going live. YouTube’s workflow documentation covers connecting the feed and scheduling; it does not establish any particular third-party automation feature.

Troubleshooting before you go live
- The encoder output does not match the intended format: Check that its output is 1920×1080 at 25 fps. If you have not enabled manual resolution settings, YouTube’s default is automatic detection.
- The stream is unstable or reports poor health: Check the actual upload bitrate and whether the connection can sustain it. Test with representative movement and audio, then monitor stream health in Live Control Room.
- The preview has no picture or sound: Confirm the encoder is sending to the stream URL with the correct key, and inspect its video and audio output settings. Wait for the feed to appear in Live Control Room before selecting Go live.
- The stream key may have been exposed: Reset it in YouTube, then update the encoder with the replacement key.
- The chosen codec or transport is unavailable: Use a codec supported by both YouTube’s RTMP/RTMPS list and your encoder. Choose RTMPS when the encoder offers it; otherwise use a transport it supports.
Or let it run in the cloud
For a YouTube channel that needs a pre-recorded video or playlist to keep looping 24/7, StreamNeo runs the stream from the cloud: upload your recording, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Your computer and home connection do not need to stay on. It streams the upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot; if YouTube drops the stream, StreamNeo automatically recovers.
