A scheduled YouTube Premiere should have a public watch page before it starts, even if you cannot find it on your channel page. Open the Premiere’s watch-page URL to reach it directly, then check its visibility and schedule in YouTube Studio. Private and unlisted videos do not appear in the channel homepage’s Videos tab, and a Community Guidelines penalty can leave a scheduled Premiere private.
Find the Premiere using its watch-page URL
Open the video’s Premiere watch-page URL directly, or share that URL with viewers. YouTube creates a public watch page for a public Premiere before the event begins. This gives you a direct way to reach it while you investigate why it is not listed on your channel.
YouTube says Premieres can appear across the platform, including on the homepage and in recommendations. Its help documentation does not promise a fixed position for every Premiere in every channel-page layout, so absence from a particular section does not by itself show that the event is missing or broken.
Check visibility and schedule in YouTube Studio
- Open YouTube Studio and select the video.
- Inspect Visibility. Confirm that the video is public. Private videos do not appear in the Videos tab of the channel homepage; unlisted videos do not appear there either.
- Confirm the Premiere and schedule are still set as intended. Check that the video has not been changed to a different visibility state or had its schedule altered.
- Save any needed changes and use the direct watch-page URL to verify that viewers can reach the event.
Check for a Community Guidelines penalty
If the channel has a Community Guidelines strike, YouTube says a scheduled Premiere will not publish during the penalty period and will be set to private. After the freeze period ends, reschedule the Premiere. Check the channel’s current status in Studio rather than assuming the channel-page omission is only a layout issue.

Allow for search delays after changes
If you recently uploaded the video or changed its settings, YouTube says it may take a few days for a new or updated video to appear in search results. This guidance concerns search indexing; it does not establish that indexing delay explains every missing channel-page listing. To troubleshoot search specifically, look up the exact video ID and check Studio for errors.
Confirm the date and timezone
The date shown on a YouTube watch page is based on Pacific Standard Time. If you scheduled the Premiere from a timezone ahead of PST, the watch-page date can differ from the date shown in Studio. Check the intended date, time, and timezone in Studio before concluding that the Premiere was scheduled for the wrong day.

What the 24-hour scheduling recommendation means
YouTube recommends scheduling a Premiere at least 24 hours in advance so viewers around the world have an opportunity to see its thumbnail in their subscriptions feed. This is a recommendation, not a guarantee of channel-page placement. Trailer eligibility rules are separate: YouTube’s stated requirement of more than 1,000 subscribers and no Community Guidelines strikes applies to the trailer feature, not to creating a Premiere.
