Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFor a YouTube Partner Program (YPP) appeal, submit a short, unlisted video that shows how you actually filmed or edited the 24/7 stream and connects that work to specific content on your channel. YouTube does not publish a separate evidence checklist for 24/7 livestream appeals, so focus on making your real contribution and the value it adds clear—not on claiming ownership, permission, or a continuous schedule.
What should you show in your YouTube appeal video?
Build the appeal around evidence that makes your role in producing the stream visible. YouTube’s guidance is to show how you filmed or edited the content and connect that demonstration to other content on your channel. YouTube’s appeal instructions do not prescribe a 24/7-stream-specific evidence package.
- Identify the decision briefly. Name the appealed channel and the reused-content concern shown in its Studio notice. Keep the video focused on the channel and the relevant content.
- Show an authentic part of your production process. Depending on what you actually did, this might be your filming, editing timeline, original visual or audio assets, or a genuine workflow used to create the stream. Show only real materials that were used; do not stage a process or imply that owning equipment proves originality.
- Explain your original contribution. Describe what you created or changed, and how it adds context, commentary, educational value, entertainment value, or another substantive contribution to any source material. YouTube describes reused content as repurposed material without significant original commentary, substantive modifications, or educational or entertainment value. Its channel monetization policies assess whether the creator’s role and added value are clear.
- Connect the demonstration to channel examples. Point to identifiable videos or other relevant content on the channel that show the same work or explain how the demonstrated process produced the stream. Make that connection easy for a reviewer to follow.
- Stay factual. Explain your actual production role. A 24/7 schedule, a statement that you own the material, permission to use it, or equipment alone does not establish compliance with the reused-content policy.
Why the appeal is about the whole channel
YouTube says reused-content monetization review is channel-wide. Reviewers may look at videos, the channel description, titles, and descriptions to understand how the creator made, participated in, or produced the content. Monetization may be removed from the entire channel if videos violate the policy or reviewers cannot clearly tell that the creator made them. The policy page explains the factors YouTube considers.
That means the appeal should not treat one continuous stream as though it were the only relevant evidence. Explain the stream in the context of the channel and link the process you show to specific channel content. The public guidance does not determine whether a particular channel or stream qualifies; that depends on the channel, the Studio notice, and what was actually produced.

Reused content is separate from copyright
YouTube says its reused-content policy is not based on copyright, permission, or fair use. A license, permission, or copyright argument may address a different issue, but it does not by itself show that the channel adds the original commentary, substantial modification, or educational or entertainment value the reused-content policy assesses. Read YouTube’s policy wording and make the appeal demonstrate your contribution rather than relying only on rights documentation.
YouTube’s July 15, 2025 update renamed “repetitious content” to “inauthentic content” and clarified that it covers repetitive or mass-produced content. YouTube said that update did not change the reused-content policy. Keep the two policy labels distinct when responding to the notice you actually received.

Meet the appeal video requirements and deadline
YouTube’s YPP appeal instructions specify the format and submission requirements below.
- The appeal must be a video, under five minutes, set to unlisted, uploaded to the channel being appealed, and submitted from the creator’s account.
- Use a supported narration language, or include English subtitles that are not auto-generated.
- Do not put appeal information in the video description.
- Show how you filmed or edited the content and try to connect that demonstration to other content on the channel.
Deadlines depend on the channel’s status: YouTube gives seven days to appeal a scheduled YPP suspension and 21 days to appeal after suspension. If a scheduled-suspension deadline is missed, the channel may be suspended; after suspension, YouTube says the creator may appeal within 21 days or reapply after 90 days. Confirm the date next to Start Appeal in the channel’s Studio monetization overview and follow the individual notice, since the applicable deadline is channel-specific. Appeal guidance and YouTube’s monetization-status information describe these timelines.

Evidence that helps versus claims that do not
| What you can show | What it demonstrates | What it does not establish by itself |
|---|---|---|
| Authentic filming, editing, project files, or original assets actually used in the stream | Your production process and role, when tied to the resulting content | That the whole channel necessarily meets YPP requirements |
| Specific examples of related channel videos | How the demonstrated work connects to content on the channel | That a single example resolves every concern about the channel |
| Permission, a license, or a copyright position | A rights-related point that may matter separately | That the channel adds the original value assessed under reused-content rules |
| A 24/7 schedule or proof of equipment ownership | That a stream runs continuously or equipment is owned | That you filmed, edited, or substantively transformed the content |
This is a practical way to apply YouTube’s general appeal instructions, not an official evidence checklist or a guarantee of reinstatement. YouTube does not publish a 24/7-stream-specific list, an evidence-based success rate, or a statistic showing that one evidence bundle improves appeal odds.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Submitting assertions instead of demonstrations: Show real production work and connect it to the finished stream or other channel content.
- Relying only on permission or ownership: Address the original contribution separately from copyright or licensing.
- Showing a workflow that was not used: Do not stage production evidence or imply that equipment itself proves authorship.
- Appealing only one stream in isolation: Explain its place in the channel and make relevant examples easy to identify.
- Missing a format or deadline requirement: Check the video settings, submission account, subtitle or narration language, description, and Studio deadline before submitting.
Or let it run in the cloud
