“Zhao Dali” is not a single, uniquely identifiable person. The romanized name is shared by at least three people in published sources, and the most prominent documented match is an academic at a Chinese university. The sources reviewed for this page do not connect any of these people to video games, so this is a name-disambiguation guide rather than a gaming profile.

The short answer

The best-documented match is Zhao Dali (赵大丽), an associate professor in the School of Economics and Management at North China University of Technology (NCUT) in Beijing. Her research covers innovation and knowledge management and enterprise digital transformation. Two other people with the same romanized name appear in the sources: a Chinese writer, Zhao Dali (赵大力), and a historical official of the China International Public Relations Association (CIPRA). Their Chinese characters, roles and source contexts all differ, so the name alone does not tell you which one is meant.

Which Zhao Dali is meant?

Use the table below to match the name you found to the right person before relying on any biographical detail.

Person Chinese characters Role or field Source type and context
Zhao Dali, NCUT scholar 赵大丽 Associate professor, business administration; innovation and knowledge management University faculty profile, accessed 2026
Zhao Dali, writer 赵大力 Literary writer; born August 1951 according to the source Chinese writer directory entry (secondary source)
Zhao Dali, CIPRA official Not stated in the source Executive vice-president and secretary-general, with charge of the association secretariat at the time described UN document on NGO applications and reclassification; historical, undated in the source

The table is a matching aid, not proof of identity. The UN document describes a past leadership arrangement and does not establish a current role or show that the official is the NCUT scholar. The writer directory is secondary evidence and does not establish that the writer and the scholar are the same person.

The NCUT scholar: Zhao Dali (赵大丽)

The NCUT School of Economics and Management faculty profile, accessed in 2026, is the primary biographical source for this person. It lists her as an associate professor in the Department of Business Administration and a master’s supervisor, with a doctorate in management. Everything below is what that profile reports, not independently verified biography.

Education and career

  • Undergraduate (2002–2006): human resource management, Huaqiao University.
  • Master’s (2006–2009): technology economics and management, Huaqiao University.

Among the selected papers it lists are work on entrepreneurial team knowledge conflict, incentives and knowledge transfer in corporate user communities, and specialized knowledge search and enterprise innovation.

The profile states that she has published more than 40 papers in academic journals and three monographs. These are the university’s own figures; no independent bibliometric count was located to confirm them.

Selected journal papers

  • “Impacts of knowledge expectations on recipients’ continuous cross-project learning intention,” International Journal of Project Management, 2022.

The profile lists a National Social Science Fund general project, number 23BGL068, on digitally empowering ambidextrous innovation in SMEs from a resource-orchestration perspective. It gives the dates as September 2023 to December 2026 and labels the project ongoing. Because project status changes, confirm it with NCUT before describing it as active.

The other people using the name

Zhao Dali (赵大力), writer

A Chinese writer directory lists a Zhao Dali (赵大力), born in August 1951, with a literary biography. The different second character separates this person from the NCUT scholar. The directory is a secondary source, and the sources reviewed do not offer a works list that could be checked against it.

Zhao Dali, CIPRA official

A United Nations document on applications and reclassification of non-governmental organizations describes changes to the China International Public Relations Association’s leadership. It names Zhao Dali as executive vice-president and secretary-general, then in charge of the association secretariat. The record is historical. It gives no Chinese characters and does not place this person in any other role.

How to confirm which person you mean

  1. Check the Chinese characters first. 赵大丽 is the NCUT scholar; 赵大力 is the writer. If a source gives only the romanized name, treat it as unresolved.
  2. Note the source type and date. A current university profile supports claims about present-day work; a historical UN record does not.
  3. For the NCUT scholar, check the NCUT School of Economics and Management faculty listing for her name, title, and department.
  4. For a book or paper, search the exact title together with the publisher or journal name, and confirm the author’s affiliation on the publisher page or journal article.
  5. If a source ties the name to a specific role but gives no characters, institution, or date, do not merge it with any of the three profiles above.

None of the people above is documented as working in games, game development, or esports, so if your interest is a gaming-related Zhao Dali, the sources reviewed do not identify one.
