पहले से रिकॉर्ड किया वीडियो YouTube पर लाइव दिखाने के लिए उसे YouTube पर सामान्य वीडियो की तरह अपलोड करना काफी नहीं है। क्लाउड सर्वर पर ऐसा encoder या playout process चलना चाहिए जो वीडियो को लगातार YouTube के ingest URL पर भेजे। YouTube Studio में उसी stream key से event बनाएं, encoder कनेक्ट करें, preview देखें और scheduled प्रसारण के लिए Go live चुनें।
कौन-सा तरीका चुनें: अपना क्लाउड सर्वर या hosted playout
क्लाउड सर्वर केवल दूर से चलने वाला कंप्यूटर है—वह अपने-आप वीडियो नहीं चलाता। उस पर compatible encoder या playout software चलाना और प्रसारण के दौरान उसकी प्रक्रिया तथा नेटवर्क कनेक्शन चालू रखना जरूरी है।
- खुद प्रबंधित क्लाउड सर्वर: वीडियो और encoder पर ज्यादा नियंत्रण मिलता है, लेकिन software चलाना, कनेक्शन देखना और process में रुकावट होने पर उसे संभालना आपकी जिम्मेदारी है।
- Hosted cloud playout: सेवा prerecorded वीडियो के लिए playout संभालती है; फिर भी YouTube event और सही stream key देना तथा प्रसारण की निगरानी करना पड़ सकता है। YouTube के encoder directory में Gyre को 24/7 prerecorded YouTube streams के लिए cloud service के रूप में सूचीबद्ध किया गया है। यह directory listing इसकी मौजूदा कीमत, limits या reliability की पुष्टि नहीं करती।
- Hardware encoder: YouTube AJA HELO Plus को standalone H.264 encoder के रूप में सूचीबद्ध करता है और बताता है कि इसका PlayToStream prerecorded media को schedule करके YouTube Live पर भेज सकता है। यह cloud VPS नहीं, अलग hardware विकल्प है।
यदि लक्ष्य रिकॉर्डिंग को live ingest के रूप में भेजना नहीं, बल्कि केवल उसे YouTube पर उपलब्ध कराना है, तो सामान्य upload या Premiere अलग विकल्प हैं। Live ingest में encoder वीडियो भेजता है और YouTube Live Control Room में उसका preview आता है।
वीडियो तैयार करें और YouTube Live event बनाएँ
- वीडियो को ऐसी जगह रखें जहाँ आपके cloud encoder या playout service की पहुँच हो। प्रसारण शुरू करने से पहले पुष्टि करें कि चुना हुआ process उस file को पढ़ और लगातार चला सकता है।
- YouTube Studio खोलें और Create → Go Live पर जाएँ। तुरंत प्रसारण के लिए stream बनाएँ, या Manage → Schedule stream से event schedule करें।
- Studio में title, audience, privacy और बाकी stream details भरें। Scheduled event से साझा करने योग्य URL और दर्शकों के reminders मिल सकते हैं। Privacy अपने दर्शकों और जरूरत के अनुसार चुनें; उम्र-संबंधी default अलग हो सकते हैं और streamer सेटिंग बदल सकता है।
- Interface के labels समय के साथ बदल सकते हैं। यदि आपके Studio में ये ठीक नाम न दिखें, तो Live Control Room में stream बनाने या schedule करने वाले विकल्प खोजें।
YouTube की आधिकारिक encoder guide में scheduled stream के लिए encoder से stream भेजने, preview का इंतजार करने और फिर Go live चुनने का workflow दिया गया है। Schedule करना अपने-आप encoder शुरू नहीं करता। (YouTube Help: Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder)

Live Control Room से server URL और stream key लें
- अपने event के Live Control Room में Stream settings खोलें।
- वहाँ दिख रहा server URL और उसी stream का stream key कॉपी करें। Encoder में दोनों दर्ज होंगे। पुराने tutorial में दिया hard-coded address इस्तेमाल करने के बजाय event की मौजूदा settings से URL लें।
- यदि आपका encoder RTMPS का समर्थन करता है, तो RTMPS URL चुनें। YouTube Help के अनुसार Stream URL के पास lock icon से RTMPS URL देखा जा सकता है। RTMPS, RTMP का secure extension है; केवल RTMP URL देखकर उसे encrypted न मानें। (YouTube Help: Encrypt your stream using RTMPS)
- Stream key को पासवर्ड की तरह सुरक्षित रखें। उसे सार्वजनिक screenshot, खुली script या साझा logs में न रखें। यदि key उजागर हो जाए, तो Live Control Room में उपलब्ध key-management विकल्पों से उसे बदलें और encoder में नया key अपडेट करें।
क्लाउड encoder से prerecorded video भेजें
यह सामान्य setup है, provider-विशेष command या tested FFmpeg recipe नहीं। अलग cloud provider और encoder के लिए settings अलग हो सकती हैं।
- वीडियो को server पर upload करें या ऐसी storage में रखें जिसे चल रहा playout process पढ़ सके।
- Server पर compatible encoder या playout software चलाएँ और उसे चुनी हुई file लगातार चलाने के लिए configure करें।
- Encoder के output में Live Control Room से मिला ingest URL और उसी event की stream key डालें। यदि RTMPS चुनते हैं, तो encoder में RTMPS support और पूरा URL सही होना चाहिए।
- प्रसारण के समय remote process और outbound network connection चालू रखें। Cloud में होने से process अपने-आप restart नहीं होता और न ही YouTube encoder की जरूरत हटाता है।
- Encoder logs और YouTube Live Control Room का preview देखें। Scheduled event के लिए preview आने पर Go live चुनें।
Custom RTMPS client बनाते समय TLS के साथ hostname handling भी मायने रखती है। Google for Developers के अनुसार ingestion server से connection port 443 पर होना चाहिए और custom TLS client में सही hostname SNI आवश्यक है। (Google for Developers: Delivering Live YouTube Content via RTMPS)

प्रसारण शुरू करें और सही ढंग से समाप्त करें
- Scheduled समय से पहले cloud encoder शुरू करें ताकि YouTube को ingest मिलना शुरू हो जाए।
- Live Control Room में preview आने तक प्रतीक्षा करें; scheduled workflow में फिर Go live क्लिक करें। केवल encoder connect होने से public launch सुनिश्चित न मानें।
- प्रसारण खत्म होने पर encoder का sending process रोकें और Live Control Room में event समाप्त करें।
YouTube Help कहता है कि 12 घंटे से कम के streams अपने-आप archive होते हैं। 12 घंटे या उससे लंबे प्रसारण के लिए इस कथन के आधार पर archive होने का भरोसा न करें। (YouTube Help: Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder)
कनेक्शन और preview की आम समस्याएँ

विकल्पों की लागत और नियंत्रण कैसे सोचें
खुद चलाए गए server में hosting और संचालन आपकी जिम्मेदारी हैं; hosted playout में सेवा का अपना शुल्क और उपलब्ध सुविधाएँ जाँचनी होंगी। यहाँ किसी cloud provider की VM size, bandwidth/egress लागत, Gyre pricing, uptime या क्षेत्रीय उपलब्धता का सत्यापित आंकड़ा उपलब्ध नहीं है—इन्हें खरीदने से पहले संबंधित provider से जाँचें।
