EA calls the game skate., while “Skate 4” remains a useful search term. Its city, San Vansterdam, has four neighborhoods: Hedgemont, Gullcrest Village, Market Mile, and Brickswich. EA says the city will evolve through Early Access and seasonal updates, so the ranking reflects the spot descriptions available in September 2025 rather than a permanent map verdict. The order weighs how well features connect into lines, technical repeatability, scale, skating style, and how clearly a location can be identified. It includes skateparks alongside rooftops, plazas, and street features; it is not a claim that one kind of spot is objectively better.
The 10 best spots in San Vansterdam
1. P-Hus rooftop ramp — Gullcrest Village
P-Hus earns the top spot for combining spectacle with route options. Its rooftop launch ramps send skaters over the House of Rolling Reverence, and a particularly difficult line can carry a skater through a circular church window. The parking structure’s multiple levels give you other ways to link features, too. Choose it for big airs or for experimenting with connected routes rather than repeating a single jump.

2. Strand Street rooftop mega ramp — Gullcrest Village
Strand Street is the pick for a long, high-energy line. The multi-building route moves from a large drop-in through ramps and a vert transition, then sets up a return jump. Its appeal is the sequence: rather than offering only one standout obstacle, it can feel like a compact skate part with a beginning, middle, and finish. Look here when sustained airtime matters more than technical street precision.

3. House of Rolling Reverence — Gullcrest Village
This former church turned indoor skate area makes a strong contained session when you want transitions and obstacles without chasing a route across rooftops. Its features include transitions, mini-ramps, fun boxes, stairs, and rails, giving it a mixed setup and a distinctive setting. It ranks below the first two for scale, but offers a more focused alternative.

4. Uppercut — Hedgemont
Uppercut rewards skaters who like to connect features rather than treat them as isolated obstacles. One described route enters by the Skateway or a railing, crosses ramps split by water, grinds a rail, and continues into another ramp and jump. Additional ramp possibilities make the area adaptable: you can revisit it to try different connections instead of relying on one fixed line.

5. Hartcore Plaza crane — Hedgemont
For a dramatic drop-in, climb to the crane and dive toward a rooftop bowl. The resulting momentum can carry a line toward P-Hus, linking two memorable locations. EA also reported Hartcore Plaza among the three most popular spots in a July 2–6, 2025 playtest. That is a dated playtest observation, not evidence that it remains one of the game’s most popular spots now.

6. Chum Bucket — neighborhood label varies by guide
Chum Bucket is a ramp-and-ledge option, with a nearby parking-lot jump adding another route possibility. Operation Sports places it in Brickswich and emphasizes chained ramp lines; Power Up Gaming labels it Hedgemont and presents it as a more relaxed line spot. Because the guides disagree on the neighborhood, use the current in-game map to confirm its location before setting out.

7. El-One Courts — Gullcrest Village
The dinosaur-statue ramp is the entry point to a more technical setup: stair sets and a central rail invite grinds, ollies, and manuals. El-One Courts makes the list because its obstacles reward controlled, repeatable street skating rather than sheer height. It is a useful contrast if the large rooftop jumps are starting to feel one-note.

8. Tri-Towers blue ramp — Hedgemont
A drop-in leads into a blue ramp and a rooftop vert sequence. The line asks for speed on landing and precise rotation, making it a better fit for skaters comfortable managing momentum than for a casual roll-through. EA named Tri-Towers among its three most popular locations in the July 2–6, 2025 playtest, but that historical sample should not be read as a current popularity ranking.

Power Up Gaming’s Towers pick is a city-street option built around vertical slides, sloped ledges, rooftop gaps, and quarter pipes among the buildings. The variety makes it appealing for improvised urban lines, rather than a single purpose-built ramp sequence. Its evaluation comes from that guide’s description, not an official ranking.

10. Rolling Waves Skatepark — Market Mile
Rolling Waves closes the list as a broad park session. A community-maintained guide calls it the city’s largest park and lists bowls, a snake run, banks, and plaza sections. Treat “largest” as that guide’s characterization, rather than an official measurement. The mix of park features makes it a natural choice when you want to move between transitions and plaza-style skating.

EA reported Hartcore Plaza, Tri-Towers, and Upper Cut as the three most popular spots during its July 2–6, 2025 playtest. The announcement describes that particular playtest window; it does not establish a live or current ranking. Use it as historical context, not as a reason to reorder this list or a prediction of what players favor now: EA’s playtest statistics.
EA’s Early Access launch announcement also frames the game as an evolving project with new skateable areas and seasonal updates. As a result, neighborhood labels and spot availability are best checked against the current in-game map, especially for locations where third-party guides differ.
