The Ferrari 599XX Evolution tops a widely cited Forza Horizon 4 list at 320 mph before modification. With top-speed tuning, a separate guide reports it at 323 mph. Those figures use different setups, so they should not be treated as one like-for-like ranking.
Fastest cars before modification
Dexerto published this ranking on August 22, 2021, describing the figures as top speeds players had reached before modifying the cars. They are guide-reported values, not results from a standardized official test. The guide also notes that modifications can raise the speeds. Read the Dexerto ranking.

How the tuned-speed list differs
Prima Games published a separate list on June 17, 2022, based on what it calls the best top-speed tuning settings. Its figures are also guide-reported, rather than independently verified standardized test results. Its reproduced sequence is not fully sorted by speed: the Agera RS is listed after the McLaren F1 despite having a lower reported speed. The table below sorts the guide’s figures from highest to lowest. Read the Prima Games guide.

What to take from the rankings
- The Ferrari 599XX Evolution leads both guides, but the reported speed is 320 mph before modification in Dexerto and 323 mph with top-speed tuning in Prima Games.
- The Mosler MT900S is second in both lists: 300 mph before modification in Dexerto and 302 mph in Prima Games’ tuned list.
- Do not combine the two lists into one ranking: their setup assumptions differ, and the guides do not establish a common controlled test method.
- Top speed alone does not establish which car is best for handling, lap time, acceleration, or general racing. The cited guides do not offer comparable results for those measures.
