The guides available offer different keybinds and sensitivity values, so use them as starting points: keep frequent build and combat actions easy to reach, then adjust the controls in-game to suit your hands and aim.
What to prioritize across platforms
1v1.LOL is a build-and-shoot game, and its controls vary by input method: keyboard and mouse, controller, or mobile touch. The practical goal is the same in each case: reach building, movement, and combat actions without awkward hand or finger travel. The settings below are examples from editorial guides, not results of controlled comparisons.
| Input method | Where actions should be easy to reach | What to tune | Hands or fingers described |
|---|---|---|---|
| Keyboard and mouse | Keep movement on WASD and place build binds on comfortable nearby keys. | Mouse, targeting, and sniper sensitivity; the guides give conflicting values. | Keyboard hand and mouse hand. |
| Controller | Put frequent building and combat actions on comfortable buttons. | General and aiming sensitivity; guides also differ on aim assist. | Both hands on the controller. |
| Mobile touch | Keep movement and build choices near the left thumb, with actions accessible to the right thumb. | Touch, aim, and sniper sensitivity, plus optional control toggles. | One guide describes a three-finger layout. |
Keyboard and mouse settings
Start with reachable binds
Both keyboard-and-mouse guides use WASD for movement, but their example binds differ. Pro Game Guides’ 2022 layout assigns pickaxe to 1, shotgun to X, assault rifle to Z, sniper to G, wall to Q, floor to C, ramp to F, and pyramid to Left Shift or Mouse Button 4. Treat that as one possible arrangement, not a required layout; choose keys you can press without disrupting movement.
Treat sensitivity values as a starting point
Pro Game Guides’ 2022 recommendation is 50% X/Y sensitivity, 100% targeting sensitivity, and 100% sniper sensitivity. eXputer’s 2022 summary instead lists 25% mouse sensitivity and 50% target sensitivity; its summary gives 50% sniper sensitivity, while its body says 100%. That internal conflict means there is no consistent guide-backed sniper number to recommend. Adjust sensitivity in-game until you can turn, track targets, and aim comfortably.

Controller settings
Make frequent actions comfortable
The controller guides agree on the principle of keeping common actions accessible, but not on a single button map. eXputer’s 2022 example puts jump on the right-stick button and cone, wall, floor, and ramp on R1, R2, L1, and L2 respectively. iTech Hacks’ 2022 mapping lists left analog for movement, A for jump, Y for swap mode, RT for shoot, and LT for aim, with building and shooting controls varying by mode. Choose one layout as a starting point and change any bind that makes movement or aiming harder.
Do not treat sensitivity or aim assist as settled
eXputer suggests 55% general sensitivity, 33% target sensitivity, a 2.6 build multiplier, and a 2.3 edit multiplier. iTech Hacks instead lists 40% general sensitivity and 50% aim sensitivity, with aim assist on. eXputer’s article also conflicts with itself about aim assist, so its recommendation does not establish one best toggle. These are guide suggestions, not tested performance findings; set aim assist according to your preference.

Arrange the HUD around your thumbs
Both mobile guides place movement and build choices near the left thumb and actions within reach of the right thumb. eXputer describes four build choices above the joystick and a three-finger approach using the left thumb, left index finger, and right thumb. iTech Hacks also describes a three-finger HUD. Start with the layout that feels natural, then reposition buttons so you can build and aim while keeping opponents visible.

Use sensitivity and toggles as personal settings
The mobile numbers differ across guides. eXputer’s 2022 suggestions are touch sensitivity 65, aim sensitivity 50, and sniper sensitivity 100; it leaves look acceleration to preference. Pro Game Guides’ 2022 figures are touch 80, aim 60, and sniper 100. iTech Hacks’ 2022 recommendations are touch 80, aim 60, and sniper 100, with look acceleration off, aim assist on, and auto shoot on. These figures are not a tested universal preset. Change one setting at a time so you can tell which adjustments make touch aiming and building feel more manageable.

How to tune your setup
- Choose the input method you actually use. Keyboard and mouse, controller, and touch each need their own comfortable binds or HUD arrangement.
- Put frequent actions within easy reach. Keep movement reliable and avoid build or combat binds that force an awkward reach.
- Begin with a guide example. Use the relevant platform section above as a baseline, not as a claim of objectively best settings.
- Adjust sensitivity in-game. If you cannot comfortably track, turn, or aim, change the relevant value. On mobile, also reposition buttons that require awkward finger travel or obscure too much of the view.
- Keep changes you can use consistently. The sources do not establish a winning preset or prove that one platform is faster or better than another.
