Android phones use different chipsets and graphics drivers, so a setting that helps one device can create glitches or worse performance on another.

If the game has visual glitches
- Open PPSSPP’s graphics settings. The exact menu wording can vary by version.
- Test the Vulkan backend, then test OpenGL separately. Do not change several graphics options at once; changing one variable makes the result easier to identify.
