Amazon’s October Prime Day runs October 6–7, 2026, and a CNET deal roundup published October 6 lists more than 20 Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 offers across games, accessories, and a console bundle. Prime membership is not required to shop the event, though some offers in the roundup are marked Prime-member-only. Prices and availability are dated snapshots, not confirmed live deals; check the retailer listing before buying.
What the October 6 roundup covers
The roundup, reproduced on a third-party page and attributed to CNET, spans original Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 games and accessories, plus a Switch 2 bundle. It is a list of reported offers, not an independent product test. Because the source is a dated sale report rather than a live price feed, treat each listed price as an October 6, 2026 snapshot.
- Games: Examples named include Sonic X Shadow Generations, Persona 3 Reload: Launch Edition, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and Super Mario Party Jamboree.
- Accessories: The roundup includes a SanDisk Express 512GB microSD card, wireless controllers, headsets, carrying and protective cases, and charging gear.
- Hardware: A Nintendo Switch 2 bundle is listed alongside the games and accessories.

Check compatibility before choosing an accessory
Switch-family products do not necessarily work across every console in the same way. The roundup identifies accessories across Switch and Switch 2, but the available details do not establish compatibility for every named item with the original Switch, Switch OLED, Switch Lite, and Switch 2 alike. Check the exact listing and product model for your console before purchasing, especially for storage, controllers, charging equipment, and protective cases.

No. The roundup says Prime membership is not required to shop Amazon’s October event, while noting that some of its listed deals are exclusive to Prime members. Check the individual offer’s price and eligibility on the listing; the $54 8BitDo controller price, for example, is specifically identified as a Prime-member price in the October 6 roundup.
