2. TETR.IO: best for competitive play
TETR.IO is a free-to-play browser-based Tetris-style “stacker,” not an official Tetris product. It is the strongest pick here for players who want more than a quick solo game: the site lists solo play, multiplayer, 40 Lines, Blitz, Zen, Custom, and other modes.

How to play without an account
- Open tetr.io.
- Choose a solo mode or another available game option.
- When the site asks you to join, leave the username field blank if the anonymous option is shown.
- Continue as an anonymous player.
TETR.IO’s displayed account prompt says anonymous users cannot submit scores to leaderboards or use matchmaking. That makes guest access suitable for practice and casual games, but not for ranked progression or joining matchmaking queues. Create an account only if those features matter to you.

3. Jstris: best for customizable multiplayer and practice
Jstris is an unofficial online multiplayer block-game platform with a strong competitive and customization focus. Its About page explicitly says that you can play without registering.
That does not mean every feature is available as a guest. Jstris recommends creating an account to use the full feature set, so anonymous access is best understood as a way to begin playing—not as a promise of unrestricted profiles, records, settings, or community features.
Choose Jstris if you want practice-oriented play, multiplayer, or custom-room flexibility and do not mind an interface that may be less immediately simple than the official site. It is not licensed or official Tetris based on the sources reviewed, so call it a Tetris-style alternative.
