The 27-inch MSI MAG 272UP was reported at $549.99 on Newegg in a PC Gamer deal report published October 6, 2026. The 32-inch MSI MAG 321UP was listed at $571.14, so it does not meet the “under $550” claim. Those are dated reported prices, not confirmed offers or stock on October 7.
What the reported Prime Day deals include
PC Gamer hardware writer Jeremy Laird reported two MSI 4K QD-OLED gaming monitors at Newegg on October 6, 2026. The report also said Amazon had the 32-inch model for $571. Neither price has been independently verified as current, and the report does not establish availability on October 7.

| MSI MAG 321UP | $571.14 at Newegg, down from a stated $749.99; PC Gamer also reported an Amazon offer at $571 | 32-inch 4K QD-OLED; 165 Hz; 0.03 ms response time |

27-inch or 32-inch: which 4K screen fits your setup?
Choose 27 inches for a denser image
Both monitors have the same 4K resolution, so the 27-inch MAG 272UP packs those pixels into a smaller area. That means higher pixel density than on the 32-inch model, which can suit a closer viewing distance or a desk where a larger screen would feel too imposing.

Choose 32 inches for more physical screen area
The MAG 321UP gives games more room on screen, while retaining the same reported 4K resolution and 165 Hz refresh rate. The trade-off is that it costs more in the cited deal: its Newegg listing was above $550. Laird said he personally preferred the 32-inch size; that is a preference, not a universal recommendation.
Brightness and USB-C limits to know
PC Gamer described both MSI displays as first-generation 4K QD-OLED monitors, with 250 nits full-screen brightness and 1,000 nits peak HDR brightness, based on the specifications it reported. The article says newer 32-inch 4K QD-OLED monitors are somewhat brighter, but does not quantify that difference. It also reports USB-C power delivery of just 15 W, so do not assume the port can provide substantial charging power to a laptop.

Is a 165 Hz 4K OLED monitor worth it?
For players who value a high refresh rate, both MSI models offer a reported 165 Hz. The PC Gamer report names the Acer Predator X27 X1bmiippruzx as a similar 27-inch 4K QD-OLED alternative at 240 Hz, for a $30 premium over the MAG 272UP deal it cited. The report does not provide a live-verified Acer price.
The extra refresh-rate headroom may matter to players who prioritize very high frame rates, but it is not automatically the better choice for every 4K gaming setup. Laird’s view was that running demanding games at more than 240 frames per second at 4K is “pretty implausible.” That is his assessment, not a benchmark or a performance ceiling for every game and system.
