There is no verified five-emulator shortlist for BGMI on Windows. KRAFTON’s published BGMI FAQ says it is “not keen on rolling out the emulator version”; the located FAQ does not establish whether KRAFTON has since changed that position. BlueStacks is the only candidate here with a located BGMI-specific setup guide, but vendor instructions do not mean KRAFTON supports or approves emulator play. The other four options below are comparison candidates, not confirmed ways to play BGMI.

What “best” means when BGMI emulator support is unconfirmed

A ranking based on BGMI compatibility, performance, or account safety would overstate the available evidence. No comparative testing is available here, and the available official consumer statement does not endorse an emulator version. The list therefore distinguishes one vendor that publishes BGMI instructions from four Windows Android-gaming options whose current BGMI compatibility is not established.

KRAFTON’s FAQ answer to “I’d like to play BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA in emulator version” says: “So currently, we are not keen on rolling out the emulator version.” It adds that any change to emulator support would be announced through BGMI’s website and social channels. The FAQ’s publication date is not exposed in the located source, so this is a dated-source qualification, not proof of KRAFTON’s position on October 8, 2026.

Option What the available evidence establishes What it does not establish
BlueStacks 5 BlueStacks published a BGMI-specific guide on September 26, 2024, specifying a Pie 64-bit instance and mouse controls. KRAFTON authorization, account safety, or current compatibility and performance.
Google Play Games on PC Google publishes Windows PC platform requirements for Google Play Games. That BGMI is available or works through the platform.
GameLoop No BGMI-specific compatibility evidence was established in the sources cited here. Current BGMI support or reliable performance.
LDPlayer No BGMI-specific compatibility evidence was established in the sources cited here. Current BGMI support or reliable performance.
MuMu No BGMI-specific compatibility evidence was established in the sources cited here. Current BGMI support or reliable performance.

1. BlueStacks 5: the only option here with a BGMI-specific guide

BlueStacks’ BGMI setup guide, dated September 26, 2024, instructs users to launch BGMI in a Pie 64-bit instance. It describes using a mouse to aim and navigate. That makes BlueStacks the clearest documented setup among these candidates, but the guide is BlueStacks’ own support material—not approval from KRAFTON.

The same guide described BGMI support up to 720p in-game resolution at the time it was published and provided a 90 FPS setup. Those are dated vendor instructions, not a guarantee that current BGMI builds, BlueStacks versions, or PCs will deliver those settings or frame rates. No comparative frame-rate test is established here.

BlueStacks lists 4 GB RAM and 5 GB of free disk space as minimum system requirements. It recommends Windows 10 or later, at least 8 GB RAM, virtualization, SSD storage, and current graphics drivers. These are BlueStacks platform requirements; they do not establish that BGMI will run or that using it complies with KRAFTON policy. See BlueStacks’ system requirements.

2. Google Play Games on PC: official platform requirements, but no established BGMI availability

Google Play Games on PC is a Windows option for supported Android games, but Google’s published requirements do not show that BGMI is available through it. Do not treat meeting the PC requirements as confirmation that BGMI can be installed or played.

Google lists these requirements for Google Play Games on PC: Windows 10 (version 2004), an SSD with 10 GB available, 8 GB RAM, four physical CPU cores, a supported GPU, administrator access, and hardware virtualization. Google also cautions that some games may not run well. Check Google’s current PC requirements and the game catalog for availability before relying on this option.

3–5. GameLoop, LDPlayer, and MuMu: compatibility remains unverified

GameLoop, LDPlayer, and MuMu are names readers may encounter when looking for Windows Android gaming software, but the sources cited here do not establish current BGMI compatibility for any of them. That is not proof they are incompatible; it means there is not enough evidence here to recommend one as a working BGMI emulator or to rank them against BlueStacks.

  • GameLoop: BGMI compatibility and a current BGMI-specific setup are not established here.
  • LDPlayer: BGMI compatibility and a current BGMI-specific setup are not established here.
  • MuMu: BGMI compatibility and a current BGMI-specific setup are not established here.

Will using an emulator risk your BGMI account?

The available official sources do not establish that ordinary emulator use alone results in a ban. They do establish that KRAFTON warns against unauthorized programs or hardware promoting unfair play, with penalties that can include permanent bans. Its Rules of Conduct are the relevant reference for prohibited conduct.

In a notice dated October 21, 2025, KRAFTON said it banned 408,992 accounts for unauthorized software or unfair play from September 1 through September 30, 2025, following automated detection and manual review. The notice does not identify emulator users or attribute those bans to ordinary emulator use, so the figure should not be read as an emulator-ban count. See KRAFTON’s BGMI notices.

Can you use an emulator in BGMI tournaments?

No. BGMI’s official competition rules say players may compete only on mobile phones or approved handheld devices and may not use an emulator on a PC or another non-handheld device. This restriction applies to official competitions; it should not be generalized into a claim about every consumer match. Read the official competition rules before entering a tournament.

  • If you prefer Google’s PC gaming platform: check whether BGMI is actually listed as available; the published hardware requirements alone do not answer that.
  • If you are considering GameLoop, LDPlayer, or MuMu: treat BGMI support as unverified unless a current, credible source confirms it for your game and emulator versions.
  • If you are entering an official tournament: use a permitted mobile phone or approved handheld device, not a PC emulator.
