RAM, CPU allocation, storage performance, data-center location and host contention all matter. Hostinger’s published guidance cites 2 GB RAM as a minimum and recommends more for larger groups, while also recommending a quad-core or hexa-core CPU and 2–4 GB or more of storage depending on usage and mods. Mods: “file access” is not the same as mod support
Before choosing a free host, distinguish between:

What to do when nobody can join
- Confirm the server is running and has finished loading the world.
- Check the password and server address or join code.
- Confirm that the client and server use the same game build.
