No verified list of eight Balatro seeds—and no routes showing how to reach an “infinite” score on them—is available here. Publishing seed codes without checking them would risk sending players into runs that do not produce the promised result. What can be established is what seeded runs are, what players may mean by “infinity,” and why modded score limits should not be confused with base-game seed results.
What a Balatro seed does—and what is not verified
Steam’s Balatro listing describes the game as a poker roguelike deckbuilder developed by LocalThunk and published by Playstack, released on February 20, 2024. It lists seeded runs as a game mode. In a run, players combine poker hands with Jokers and other cards to build synergies and beat blinds.

That confirms seeded runs are part of Balatro; it does not confirm that any particular seed reaches a specific score. The eight seed codes and their routes—such as the required game version, stake, deck, early cards, and shop or blind sequence—could not be verified. There is therefore no reliable basis here for ranking eight seeds or claiming that any one of them produces infinity.
What “infinity” can mean in Balatro
Players sometimes use “naneinf” informally for a displayed score that has grown beyond the game’s practical numeric range. That is community terminology, not an official score threshold or a guarantee that a run has reached a mathematically infinite value.

Modded runs add another distinction. The Cryptid repository FAQ discusses configuring a score limit through its Amulet dependency. It says, “True Infinity is not actually reachable with Cryptid alone (or most other mods for that matter) and is in 99% of cases caused by a bug.” The FAQ also says that reaching infinity with Amulet in Omeganum mode likely indicates a bug. Those statements concern that modded context; they do not establish how any unmodded seed behaves.

A useful seed guide needs more than a code. Before following or sharing a route, check that it identifies:

- Version and platform: the game version used, and whether the route is platform-specific.
- Run setup: the mode, stake, deck, and whether the run uses mods.
- Required sequence: the Jokers or other cards to find, plus any essential shop or blind choices.
- Meaning of the result: whether the route claims a large finite score, a display overflow, or a mod-specific infinity state.
Without those details, a seed code alone cannot substantiate a reproducible result. In particular, a modded score-limit demonstration should not be presented as proof that the same outcome is possible in an unmodded seeded run.
