Keep the shortlist useful after recruitment
- Track whether each signing is getting the match time needed for development.
- Use a loan when a prospect needs regular minutes but cannot yet earn them in your first team.
- Monitor wages and bonuses as well as transfer spending; EA specifically advises managing both to avoid budget problems.
- Revisit your scouting list when squad needs change, rather than signing prospects solely for a potential figure.
