To complete A Wishful Invitation in Disney Dreamlight Valley, claim the invitation in your mailbox, take the train from Stardust Port to Wishblossom Ranch, and follow Snow White’s tasks. The cave flower grants your first horse; then you’ll practise riding, use the horse’s push ability to move a flower cart, search the Wishing Well and stable area for clues, and upgrade the stable to finish.
Before you start
A Wishful Invitation is the opening Snow White story quest in the Wishblossom Ranch expansion, so you need to own the expansion to access it. The community-maintained Dreamlight Valley Wiki reports these prerequisites: The Dream Castle, Friendship Is Everything, Making Cents of Things, Scrooge McDuck’s Grand Re-opening, and Fishing Expedition. If the invitation or quest is missing, check your in-game quest log and confirm that the expansion is available to your account. How to complete A Wishful Invitation
- Claim the invitation. Open your mailbox and collect the Wishblossom Ranch invitation or voucher.
- Travel to the ranch. Go through Dream Castle to Stardust Port, then board the train to Wishblossom Ranch.
- Meet Snow White. Find her near the ranch entrance and speak with her to begin the quest tasks.
- Get your first horse. Follow the path to the cave flower and investigate it. Customize the horse you receive, then ride back toward Snow White.
- Practise riding. Gallop for the quest’s required distance and jump over nearby obstacles while galloping. Destructoid gives the targets as 150 distance and three obstacle jumps; the gallop control varies by platform, so use the prompt shown in your active quest. - Clear the bee-blocked route. Use the horse’s push ability to move the flower cart toward the bees. This clears the way forward.
- Follow the clue trail. Search near the Wishing Well, then continue to the ruins by the river and the stable area. After moving the cart, check near the stable and behind the stables for the feather clue. Clue descriptions and placement are covered in Dexerto’s quest guide.
- Finish at the stable. Return to Snow White when prompted to discuss your findings. Interact with the horseshoe sign beside the stable to upgrade it and open a stall, then speak with Snow White to complete the quest.
Where to find the clues
- Wishing Well: Search around the well for the first clue.
- Riverside ruins: Check the ruined building near the river.
- Stable area: Look near the stable after moving the flower cart.
- Behind the stables: Find the feather clue there.
Snow White’s directions advance the trail, so follow the current quest marker if the precise search area differs from a guide’s description.
How to get past the bees
Use the horse’s push ability on the flower cart and move it toward the bees. The cart distracts them and opens the blocked route; galloping or jumping is not the solution to this obstacle.

Why the riding objective may not count
For the distance and jumps, stay on the horse and gallop as you approach nearby obstacles so the horse jumps over them. The control for galloping depends on platform, and the walkthrough evidence does not establish one universal button. Follow the active quest prompt rather than relying on a platform-specific button from another player’s guide.
