Eight titles were reported as scheduled to leave the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Game Catalog on February 17, 2026. A ninth title, No Straight Roads, appeared on one list as a Japan-only case, so it was not a ninth worldwide departure. The reports are historical and do not establish the final catalog status in every region.
Which games were reported to be leaving PS Plus in February 2026?
GameSpot, Push Square, and PlayStation Universe reported the same eight-title scheduled list. The date below is the reported departure date, not a guarantee of current availability in every territory.

Why does the headline say nine games?
PlayStation LifeStyle’s January 20 list included No Straight Roads, but marked it as Japan-only; its report said the game was already gone in other regions. Count it as a territory-specific listing, not as a ninth worldwide scheduled departure. See PlayStation LifeStyle’s initial list.

What happened with Carto and Spirit of the North?
The lists changed as the February update approached. PlayStation LifeStyle’s January 20 report included Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition and Carto; its January 22 follow-up said both had already disappeared from the catalog and were removed from the Last Chance to Play list. Push Square described Spirit of the North as an apparent erroneous listing and did not count it among the eight scheduled titles. These are catalog-status irregularities, not evidence of two additional standard departures.
For the change in the list, see PlayStation LifeStyle’s January 22 update.

When were the games expected to leave?
The reported date was February 17, 2026, around the next catalog update. GameSpot said the titles were visible in the PS4/PS5 PS Plus Collections interface and reported an expected timing of around noon Eastern Time. It also noted that individual PlayStation Store pages had not yet shown a date and time. Noon Eastern was therefore a contemporaneous expectation, not an official removal timestamp.
Does New World Aeternum’s shutdown change anything?
No. GameSpot reported that New World Aeternum was already delisted and had a planned shutdown in January 2027. That is separate from the reported February 17, 2026 departure from the PS Plus catalog; one date describes catalog access, the other the game’s planned service shutdown.

What should players do?
If you still had catalog access to one of these games, check its current listing in your own PlayStation Store region rather than relying on an old departure list. GameSpot noted that players would need to buy a game to continue playing after catalog access ended. The reports do not establish final removal timing or availability for every region.
