For EA Sports FC 25 Career Mode, the highest-rated wonderkids by potential are led by Jude Bellingham and Lamine Yamal, tied at 94 in FourFourTwo’s 2024 rating snapshot. “Wonderkid” is an informal label rather than a fixed game category; this guide uses it for young players with high Career Mode potential. The ranking is potential-based, not a list of the nine highest current overalls.
How this FC 25 wonderkid ranking works
Overall is a player’s current in-game rating; potential represents the development ceiling in the rating source. The figures below use FourFourTwo’s published 2024 table, which gives both values. Ages and positions are not established in the cited table, so they are omitted rather than mixed in from another snapshot. The ranking orders players by potential, then by starting overall; alphabetical order breaks any remaining tie.

This is a documented ranking, not a claim that every FC 25 database uses identical ratings. For example, FUTWIZ’s current page snapshot lists Yamal at 86 overall and 95 potential, while FIFACM’s FC 25 database view gives him 85 overall and 94 potential. Those differ from FourFourTwo’s 2024 figures and from each other, so the numbers should not be combined as if they came from one roster snapshot.
Who are the best wonderkids in EA FC 25 Career Mode?
These are the nine players supported by the available FourFourTwo table entries, ordered by potential. The value in “Growth gap” is potential minus current overall; it is a simple comparison of the two listed ratings, not a promise of how quickly a player will develop.

FourFourTwo’s table supports seven names in the provided figures, not a verifiable ninth-place cutoff. The final two entries are therefore not ranked by guesswork: a ninth-name list would require checking the full chosen database and applying the same age, gender and tie-break rules throughout. FootballTransfers independently identifies Bellingham and Yamal as joint leaders and lists Musiala at 93, Wirtz at 92, and Endrick at 91 potential.
What the potential ratings mean for a Career Mode squad
Top potential does not mean top current overall
Bellingham is already 90 overall against 94 potential in FourFourTwo’s 2024 table, while Endrick is 77 against 91. That makes Bellingham the more ready-made option by current rating, and Endrick the larger stated potential-to-overall gap. The gap is not a guaranteed number of rating points a manager can realize: the table does not describe development time, training, play time, or a player’s eventual in-save outcome.

Balance readiness against room to grow
Use current overall when the squad needs immediate quality, and potential when the priority is a longer-term project. For a comparison within this snapshot, Yamal’s 81 overall and 94 potential give him a larger gap than Bellingham’s 90 and 94; the tied ceiling does not make their starting contribution equivalent.

It depends on which FC 25 rating snapshot you use. FourFourTwo’s 2024 table gives Yamal 81 overall and 94 potential; FUTWIZ’s current player page snapshot shows 86 overall and 95 potential; FIFACM’s FC 25 database view shows 85 overall and 94 potential. Those figures describe different published data views, not a single timeless rating. An Ultimate Team ratings page is also not a Career Mode potential list: EA’s retrieved ratings disclosure concerns a later game edition and Ultimate Team item categories, not FC 25 Career Mode potential.

Sources and scope
FourFourTwo provides the cited overall/potential pairs and frames its list as young talent. FootballTransfers describes its ranking as potential-based and also reports Bellingham and Yamal tied at the top. FUTWIZ’s under-23 listing includes women’s players, while age cutoffs and gender scope vary across guides; “wonderkid” is not a uniform formal category. This article uses the explicitly listed FourFourTwo FC 25 table entries and does not import other players to fill a nine-person ranking.
