Xbox achievements and PlayStation trophies both record in-game accomplishments, but the available official documentation does not establish that their platform-wide totals use the same unit or can be converted directly. Sony documents trophy grades, rarity, progress views, and syncing; the Xbox Support page identified for this comparison confirms a topic about tracking achievements, but its article text was unavailable for verification.
What achievements and trophies record
Both systems attach digital records to objectives players complete in games. Sony says trophies can be earned for objectives such as clearing levels, finding collectibles, or completing tasks. The Microsoft Xbox Support result is titled “Tracking achievements in your game”, but the page body was not accessible, so its specific progress and scoring rules cannot be confirmed here.
How PlayStation trophy progress is displayed
On PS5, open your profile and select Trophies; on PS4, use the Trophies area. Select a game to inspect its trophy list and individual trophy details. On PS5, trophy cards show earned-trophy statistics, pinned trophies, and available trophies according to progress. You can pin up to five trophies for each game.
Sony documents manual trophy synchronization on both PS5 and PS4, as well as ways to compare trophies with other players. For exact console menu steps and synchronization options, see PlayStation’s trophy support guide.

PlayStation grades and rarity are different measures
Sony orders trophy grades from most difficult to least difficult as Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The number of trophies in each grade and the conditions for earning them vary by game.
Rarity is a separate label based on how many players earned the same trophy. Sony lists four rarity categories:

- Tri-mode Connectivity: Wired for Xbox, 2.4G & Wired for PC, and Bluetooth for Android. The G7 Pro supports seamless connectivity across Xbox, PC, and Android. Effortlessly switch between modes using the convenient physical mode switch.

- 1000Hz Polling Rate on PC: Experience ultra-responsive gaming with a 1000Hz polling rate on PC, available through both wired and 2.4G wireless connections. This ensures instantaneous input registration, reducing lag and optimizing your performance for the most competitive gameplay.
- GameSir Nexus App: The G7 Pro is compatible with the upgraded GameSir Nexus app, which brings a significant upgrade over the original. It introduces powerful new features such as gyro settings, stick curve adjustments, and button-to-mouse mapping, giving you deeper customization and more control than ever before.

- Very rare
- Rare
- Common
Rarity indicates how widely a trophy has been earned; it is not the same as its grade or a direct measure of difficulty.
Do Xbox and PlayStation totals use the same scale?
That cannot be established from the available official sources. Sony describes trophy grades and game-specific earning conditions, while the accessible Xbox Support result only establishes that Microsoft has guidance about tracking achievements. It does not verify Xbox’s overall-total unit, score assignments, per-game progress display, or synchronization behavior.

For that reason, do not treat an Xbox achievement total and a PlayStation trophy total as equivalent numbers or assume a direct conversion. The documented PlayStation grades and rarity labels also should not be projected onto Xbox achievements.

For a PlayStation game available on both PC and console, Sony says trophy progress is valid on both platforms. On PC, open the PlayStation overlay with Shift+F1 and select Trophies to view progress. See Sony’s instructions for accessing the trophy list while playing on PC.
