Temari Trials: Dojo’s Test is a single-player logic puzzle game: guide a fox around each stage to push temaris into locked chests. Every successful hit removes one lock; remove them all to clear the stage and move on. The Nintendo listing describes 30 handcrafted stages, with puzzles built around chest lock counts and temari positioning.
How do you play a stage?
- Read the board. Check where the fox, temaris, chests, and obstacles are before moving.
- Plan the pushes. Work out how to position the fox and send a temari in the needed direction. Temaris can push one another, so the route may involve moving balls into position rather than simply aiming one directly at a chest.
- Move the fox. Guide it to push a temari, then observe how the board changes before choosing the next move.
- Hit the chests. Each successful temari hit removes one lock. Nintendo describes chests with one to three locks, so a chest with more locks needs multiple hits.
- Clear the stage. Remove every lock to finish the mission; the fox then advances to the next challenge.
Nintendo’s official Nintendo Switch listing and the Xbox Series listing describe the game as single-player.
What makes the later puzzles challenging?
The official Nintendo description points to two sources of challenge: how many hits a chest requires and where temaris need to be positioned. Because balls can push one another, solving a stage can depend on the order of pushes and the spaces available to maneuver, not just on reaching a chest.
Nintendo lists 30 handcrafted stages. Its product information does not give a stage-by-stage difficulty ranking or establish that difficulty rises in a strictly steady curve, so the clearest expectation is a range of puzzles that ask for increasingly demanding planning—not a guaranteed linear progression.

Can you undo a move or restart?
Yes. The official descriptions list both undo and restart as recovery options. Use undo when you want to back up from a move; restart is available if you would rather begin the mission again. The listings do not provide a complete control map, so the exact button or input depends on the platform’s in-game controls.
What does progress mean?
Progress is stage-based: clearing all chest locks completes a mission, after which the fox advances to the next challenge. Nintendo identifies 30 handcrafted single-player stages. The official product pages do not provide a detailed stage list, walkthrough, or named progress milestones.

Which platforms and play modes are listed?
Nintendo lists the game for Switch with TV, tabletop, and handheld play, and names the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller as compatible. Compatibility does not mean a separate Pro Controller is required. The US Nintendo listing gives a February 19, 2026 release date; Nintendo’s UK listing gives February 18, 2026, so check the relevant regional store for local release details. The official Xbox listing describes an Xbox Series X|S version and lists achievements and cloud saves. Store availability and pricing can change by region and date.
