What Players’ Voice means in this result
The awards page lists Players’ Voice separately from the jury-decided category wins. The result shows Black Myth: Wukong received both the Best Action Game award and the Players’ Voice award; it does not make the game a GOTY winner.

The organizer says nominations are selected by a voting jury of “OVER 100 leading media and influencer outlets across the globe,” as described on its Voting Jury page. That is a count of outlets, not individual jury members.

Viewership and voting figures for the 2024 show
In a December 18, 2024 announcement, The Game Awards reported 154 million global livestreams for the 2024 show, 31% more than its reported 118 million in 2023. The organizer also said voting across participating platforms, including Players’ Voice, exceeded 112 million and increased by more than 25% over 2023. These are figures reported by the organizer.
