In Act Two, she is taken from Last Light Inn; searching Moonrise Towers or the Mind Flayer Colony will not lead you to her.
Where to find Mol in Act One
Mol leads the tiefling children’s gang from a hidden cavern beneath the Hollow in the Emerald Grove. Speak with the refugee children and follow up on their encounters to uncover the hideout; depending on your actions, the children may invite you in after you help or protect them. The precise route can vary with what you have already done.
Be careful in your interactions with the children. If the gang views your party as a threat, Mol may be hostile. The Game8 hideout walkthrough describes this possibility, while the Tiefling Hideout reference details the location beneath the Hollow.
What happens to Mol in Act Two?
After the events at Last Light Inn, a winged horror abducts Mol and the Find Mol quest follows the search. Moonrise Towers and the Mind Flayer Colony are not where she is being held, so exploring those locations will not rescue her.
