To begin the reported Glass Elevator route in Blue Prince, find the Underground Roundtable and light every candle around it. A secondary walkthrough says this raises a staircase and opens a path toward the elevator, but it does not verify a complete unlock sequence or confirm that lighting the candles activates the elevator.
Start at the Underground Roundtable
- Locate the Underground Roundtable.
- Use an in-game fire tool to light every candle surrounding it. One secondary walkthrough reports that doing so raises a staircase and opens a route toward the Glass Elevator (secondary walkthrough).
- Follow the newly opened staircase and route. The available account does not establish what further steps, if any, are needed to unlock or operate the elevator.
Use the Burning Glass to light the candles
The Burning Glass is one tool that can light special candles. The game wiki says you can craft it in the Workshop by combining a Metal Detector with a Magnifying Glass (game wiki). This recipe provides a way to obtain the tool; it does not establish that the Burning Glass is the only way to light the Roundtable candles.
Do not confuse it with the Foundation elevator
The Foundation elevator is a separate mechanic, and its instructions do not verify the Glass Elevator route. To lower the Foundation elevator, draft an adjoining room with a doorway aligned to the Foundation’s otherwise blocked side, reach the crank through that doorway, and turn it. The Foundation guides say this activation persists (Foundation guide; Foundation guide).
