What Pearl Abyss confirms about combat
Pearl Abyss describes combat built around chaining different attacks. In its March 19, 2026 launch announcement, the publisher said: “Combat is fluid, allowing players to chain combos using swords, axes, spears, ranged weapons, and hand-to-hand combat, kicks, and grapples.” The statement confirms grapples as part of the broader combat system, but does not identify a specific RKO or lariat move.
The official Crimson Desert game page also presents the game as an open-world action adventure with varied combat. Neither that overview nor the launch announcement establishes the community nickname as an in-game skill name.
