Yes: the two Server Boosts included with Nitro stop being supplied when that Nitro subscription ends. Separately purchased Server Boost subscriptions are independent and may remain active. Check User Settings > Subscriptions to see which boosts you have.
What happens to each type of boost?

How to check whether you have a separate boost subscription
- Open Discord and select the gear icon to open User Settings.
- Select Subscriptions.
- Look for an active Server Boost subscription. If one is listed, it is separate from the boosts included with Nitro.
Discord says a separately purchased Server Boost subscription canceled by the user continues through its current billing period; its benefits end at the period’s close. See the billing FAQ.
What happens to the server’s perks?
Server perks depend on the server’s remaining boost count and how boosts are allocated. If the count drops below what a perk requires, that perk is disabled. Discord states this rule in its Server Boosting FAQ, updated September 14, 2026.
Check the server’s current boost count and the boosts allocated to any additional perks you rely on. The effect of your Nitro ending depends on whether the remaining boosts still meet each perk’s requirement. Discord’s help text does not specify one universal exact instant when a server’s displayed boost count updates after Nitro expires.

Will your Server Boost badge streak be affected?
The badge streak is distinct from the server’s perks. Discord says a streak can be lost when Nitro with its included boosts or a Server Boost subscription ends. It also describes a 72-hour period to apply boosts to a new server to maintain a streak. Separately, leaving or being removed from a server you boost triggers a seven-day cooldown.
