Dark Avengers was a past MARVEL SNAP season, announced on January 7, 2025—not the latest season. The official site’s latest-season listing as of October 8, 2026, identifies Vampires vs. Zombies, announced October 2, 2026. Here’s what the Dark Avengers season introduced, including its cards, locations, and limited-time events.
What cards were in the Dark Avengers season?
The season framed former villains as a new Avengers group. Its announcement named Iron Patriot as the season-pass card and introduced four new Series 5 cards: Victoria Hand, Moonstone, Bullseye, and Ares. The following is the card text as published in that announcement; it should not be assumed to describe the cards’ live abilities today.
| Card | Role in the announcement | Announced ability |
|---|---|---|
| Iron Patriot | Season-pass card | On Reveal: Add a random 4, 5, or 6-Cost card to your hand. If you’re winning here after next turn, give it -4 Cost. |
| Victoria Hand | New Series 5 card | Ongoing: Your cards that were created in your hand have +2 Power. |
| Moonstone | New Series 5 card | Ongoing: Has the Ongoing effects of your 1, 2, and 3-Cost cards here. |
| Bullseye | New Series 5 card | Activate: Discard all cards that cost 1 or less from your hand. Afflict that many different enemy cards with -2 Power. |
| Ares | New Series 5 card | On Reveal: Compare the Power of the top 3 cards of both decks. If your total is higher, +6 Power. |
