What Drew McIntyre wore at WrestleMania 41
At WrestleMania 41 on April 20, 2025, McIntyre wore what WWE called “Doom: The Dark Ages” gear for his entrance before facing Damian Priest. WWE described the entrance as presented by the game in its event recap. “Doom Slayer” is understandable shorthand for the character-inspired appearance, but WWE’s wording is the more precise description.

The match was a Sin City Street Fight. WWE’s official match page lists Priest as McIntyre’s opponent and identifies the stipulation.
Why the WrestleMania date matters
This was WrestleMania 41, held April 19–20, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, not WrestleMania 42. WWE’s event announcement named the venue and dates. Keeping the year attached helps distinguish the entrance from later WrestleMania coverage involving McIntyre.

The DOOM: The Dark Ages connection
WWE’s official video description also identifies the entrance as a DOOM: The Dark Ages promotion. The game launched on May 15, 2025, after WrestleMania 41. Bethesda lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox App for Windows PC, Steam, and Battle.net among the platforms on its support page.
The official tie-in establishes a promotional appearance, not that McIntyre personally selected the gear or that the exact entrance outfit is sold as a consumer costume. The available official descriptions do not identify it as a retail Doom Slayer replica.

Keep the WWE World attendance figure in context
WWE said its five-day WWE World fan convention at WrestleMania 41 drew more than 50,000 attendees, a 21 percent increase over the event around WrestleMania XL, in its April 22, 2025 announcement. That figure is for WWE World; it is not stadium attendance or viewership of McIntyre’s entrance.
