What the trophy list asks players to do
The list spans the game’s story, battle modes, online play, and collection and progression systems. It is not limited to finishing a single story route.
- Episode Battle: Complete multiple character sagas and pursue optional branches. Some trophies are tied to alternate routes, so a single straight run may not satisfy every story requirement.
- Versus and tournaments: Win battles and tournament modes.
- Online battles: Participate in matches, including the requirement PowerPyx identifies for 100 online battles.
- Scenes and finishers: View special scenes and perform finishers.
- Collection and progression: Summon Shenron, collect ability items, unlock characters, reach player levels, earn or spend Zeni, and obtain titles.
Is there an online trophy, and how many battles are needed?
Yes. PowerPyx identifies Connected Rivals as requiring participation in 100 online battles. Its guide says wins are not required and that private matches count, so the requirement is participation rather than a 100-win streak. Those details are guide advice, not a publisher statement. Does the Platinum require DLC?
PowerPyx says the Platinum can be earned without DLC. The article’s list is a PlayStation trophy list; Xbox separately lists Xbox achievements, and Steam lists Steam Achievements. These platform listings establish achievement support on their respective storefronts, but do not establish shared progress or an identical interface across platforms.

Bandai Namco described Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO as a Spike Chunsoft-developed sequel to the DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI TENKAICHI series and said it launched with 181 playable characters.
