ZERO absent from the five displayed entries. Sony’s cited PlayStation Store chart is from October 2024: the game ranked second in PS5 downloads in both US/Canada and Europe, not first.
What the current Steam chart shows
Valve’s Steam Charts overview separates “Top Selling” from “Most Played,” so player counts cannot establish a sales position. In the snapshot accessed October 8, 2026, the displayed top-seller entries were Dota 2, STAR WARS: Galactic Racer, Gears of War: E-Day, AION 2 and Overwatch. Sparking! ZERO was not among those five.

SteamDB’s weekly global revenue chart ranked DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO 28th for July 28–August 4, 2026. That is a third-party, historical ranking by weekly revenue; it is not a live Steam sales position and does not show the game leading the chart.

Revenue rank, units sold, concurrent players and review totals measure different things. A player-count tracker or review score should not be presented as evidence that a game is Steam’s top seller.

Sony Interactive Entertainment’s November 8, 2024 PlayStation Store: October 2024’s top downloads lists Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero at number two in the PS5 download charts for both US/Canada and Europe.

Sony’s chart is not a current 2026 sales ranking. Downloads are not the same measure as sales, and a second-place result is not a number-one result. Sony also notes that product names can vary by region and that upgrades are excluded from its lists.
What is known about total sales
Bandai Namco Entertainment America announced on February 4, 2025 that DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO had sold more than five million units worldwide since launch. The publisher also called it the fastest-selling DRAGON BALL console game to that date. This is a publisher-reported milestone as of that announcement, not a current lifetime total or a live storefront rank.

Bandai Namco lists the arena brawler for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. Its game information highlights online and co-op multiplayer, Episode Battle and Custom Battles. Platform availability does not imply a particular chart position.
