EB Games Canada says its free EDGE Rewards program will end on November 5, 2026. Members can continue earning and redeeming rewards until that date. The retailer says a new loyalty program is in preparation, but has not yet announced its name, launch date, benefits, or enrollment details.
Which EB Games program is ending?
The announcement applies to EDGE Rewards at EB Games Canada. It should not be read as an Australia-wide change: EB Games Australia has a separately named EB World program.

When does EDGE Rewards end, and what can members do until then?
EB Games Canada’s FAQ, dated November 19, 2025 and updated thereafter, gives November 5, 2026 as the end date. The retailer says members “will keep earning and redeeming rewards until the official end date.” Current EDGE benefits and discounts end when the program does.
What is replacing EDGE?
EB Games says, “We are preparing for the next phase of loyalty at EB Games with a new program.” The FAQ does not provide the replacement’s name, launch date, eligibility, fees, benefits, or sign-up instructions, and says registration is not yet available. No transition details should be assumed until the company publishes them.

#1 Best Overall
- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
- Redemption: Online
Will EDGE points transfer to the new program?
The FAQ says transition options will be shared closer to launch, but does not confirm whether points will transfer, convert, or remain usable during any overlap. The EDGE Legacy Terms, last updated November 5, 2025, state that accrued points and unused benefits are lost when the program terminates, subject to an exception for trade-in credit values. That scheduled termination language is not confirmation of a points-transfer arrangement.
Because the FAQ leaves the transition unresolved, members should check their EDGE account and EB Games Canada’s official updates as the end date approaches, and use eligible rewards before termination if they do not want to risk losing them.

Why this is not the same as Australia’s EB World PLUS
EB Games Australia describes EB World PLUS as a paid upgrade layered on top of EB World level rewards. That Australian program information does not establish the name, price, or structure of the planned Canadian replacement. See the retailer’s EB World PLUS support page for the Australia-specific description.
