When did The Simpsons: Tapped Out shut down?
The end of the event and the game’s shutdown were not the same date as the app-store removal. Wikisimpsons’ update reference reports that an in-game shutdown notice said in-app purchases had been disabled, the game would be removed from the Apple App Store and Google Play on October 31, 2024, and it would no longer be accessible after January 24, 2025. Wikisimpsons’ date reference also lists the server shutdown on January 24, 2025. These are fan-maintained references describing the notice and shutdown; they are not EA-published announcement pages.
