AAC Light-heavyweight M4 is the fourth raid in The Arcadion’s Light-heavyweight tier, and its opponent is Wicked Thunder. The standard duty requires an average item level of 685; M4 Savage requires 710. Both are level 100 encounters, but Savage has a longer time limit and a different reward progression.
What is AAC Light-heavyweight M4?
M4 is the final encounter of The Arcadion’s Light-heavyweight raid tier in Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail. The standard duty takes place in The Thundering, where players face Wicked Thunder, described in the duty entry as Yaana’s sister and a former heavyweight fighter. The encounter is a level 100 duty. Square Enix’s Eorzea Database entry for AAC Light-heavyweight M4 lists the standard-duty requirements and rewards.
Standard M4 and M4 Savage requirements
The standard raid and its Savage version have distinct entry requirements. Check the version name before queueing: the item-level thresholds and time limits are not interchangeable.
| Version | Minimum average item level | Party and restrictions | Time limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| AAC Light-heavyweight M4 | 685 | 1–8 players; the standard party composition is two tanks, two healers, and four DPS. Role and item-level restrictions are lifted for parties that meet the minimum-size requirements. | 90 minutes |
| AAC Light-heavyweight M4 (Savage) | 710 | Eight-player party | 120 minutes |
The standard-duty figures come from the Eorzea Database; Savage requirements are listed in Square Enix’s Patch 7.05 notes.
