The Fortnite x South Park Born in Chaos pass ended on February 5, 2026, and its rewards are no longer obtainable through the event. The pass itself was free: players earned its South Park items by completing event quests, with the Imaginationland Airship glider awarded for completing all missions.
When did the Born in Chaos pass end?
Epic’s event announcement listed the run as January 9 through February 5, 2026. The event had ended by October 8, 2026, so players can no longer complete its quests to claim the pass rewards. Epic’s announcement
For a current Fortnite season’s end date, Epic recommends checking the Battle Pass page or the Battle Pass tab in-game; schedules can change. Epic’s Battle Pass guidance
Was the pass free?
Yes. Epic described Born in Chaos as a free pass that required no V-Bucks. That applied to the quest-earned pass rewards, not the South Park outfits sold separately in the Item Shop. Epic’s event announcement

How did players earn the pass rewards?
During the event, players completed South Park quests to progress through the pass. Epic said it included 13 South Park items, naming the Backpack of CRED Back Bling, Terrance and Phillip Pickaxe, and Cheesy Poofs Rocketship Emote as examples. Those examples are not a complete item list. Epic’s event announcement
For more detail, GameSpot’s January 9, 2026 launch-day guide described a 12-tier linear track with nine cosmetic rewards and three level skips. It reported that each quest granted 400 CRED and each tier required 1,000 CRED. These progression figures are from GameSpot’s contemporary guide, rather than Epic’s announcement. Both descriptions concern finishing the event’s missions, not buying the pass. Epic’s event announcement GameSpot’s guide

No. The Cartman, Kenny, Kyle, Stan, and Butters outfits were separate Item Shop purchases, not rewards in the free pass. GameSpot reported on January 9, 2026 that the five-outfit bundle was listed for 4,000 V-Bucks and individual outfits for 1,500 V-Bucks each. Those are historical launch-period prices, not a statement of current price or availability. GameSpot’s South Park shop report
