Huranui’s Bamboo Strike is outside Huranui’s Rest Inn in the Tokachi Range, beside the river. Look around the building toward the water, especially to the left as you face the inn; the inn’s map marker may cover the activity instead of showing a separate Bamboo Strike icon.
Where is Huranui’s Rest Inn?
Travel to Huranui’s Rest Inn in the Tokachi Range, then search outside along the river. Guides place the Bamboo Strike beside the inn, with the most useful search area to the left of the building when facing it. Do not rely on a separate activity icon: the inn marker may obscure the strike’s location.

If the activity will not start, try drinking sake until Atsu’s vision becomes blurry. GameSpot reports this condition for the Huranui challenge, but other location guides do not mention it, so it is best treated as a troubleshooting step rather than a confirmed requirement for every player. On PlayStation controllers, Cross is the button often written as X in guides. The second and third rounds repeat the earlier inputs before adding more, so follow the full sequence shown rather than entering only the new buttons.
What the Bamboo Strike gives you
Completing all three rounds increases Spirit and awards Young Bamboo, according to Push Square. PowerPyx lists 15 Bamboo Strikes across the game; its guide says activities remain available in free roam after the story. PowerPyx’s location guide

If the timed inputs are difficult
Ghost of Yōtei includes an accessibility setting for playing without rapid button presses or a time limit. Open the game’s accessibility options and look for the Bamboo Strike input/timer assistance; the exact menu wording may vary by language or game update.
