In Ghost of Yōtei, all four wind chimes for The Undying Samurai Mythic Tale are in Ishikari Plain: White Deer Woodlands, Nakagoya Springs, Stone Jaw Coast, and Rumoi River. Collect them, place them on four posts, then defeat the Undying Samurai to earn the Armor of the Undying.
How to unlock The Undying Samurai
The Undying Samurai is a Mythic Tale in Ishikari Plain. The chime hunt is an objective in the tale once you start it. The available guide information does not establish an additional story prerequisite, so there is no confirmed separate unlock condition to list here.

All four wind chime locations
Use the named areas below to find each chime. The directions are relative to Storyteller’s Rest where stated; no exact map coordinates are established.
1. White Deer Woodlands
The first chime hangs from a tree near Storyteller’s Rest. It may be directly in front of you after the tale’s cutscene, so check the immediate area before moving on.

2. Nakagoya Springs
Head south of Storyteller’s Rest. Look for a chime attached to a spear that is impaling a body, then collect it.
3. Stone Jaw Coast
Find the corpse with a chime hanging near a cliff. Use your grappling hook to pull it down, then descend carefully to retrieve the chime.

4. Rumoi River
A ronin at the river holds the final chime. Defeat him to obtain it.
How to track the remaining chimes
Once you have at least one chime, track The Undying Samurai and use Gust Wind to point toward the remaining objectives. The chime also gives a distinct sound when you are near an item. You can hold the chime and follow the direction where its wind feels strongest to narrow down the search.

What to do after collecting all four
Go to the Undying Samurai and place the chimes on the four posts. This triggers the next scene and the fight. Defeat him to complete the tale and receive the Armor of the Undying.
