The Volcano Manor Godskin Noble waits at the Temple of Eiglay on Mt. Gelmir. This guide covers that specific fight: how to reach it, what it rewards, and how to handle its black-flame attacks, sword strikes, and second-phase roll. The Noble also appears elsewhere in Elden Ring, but those encounters have different roles and rewards.
Where to find Godskin Noble in Volcano Manor
Find the Volcano Manor encounter at the Temple of Eiglay, in front of the altar associated with the Serpent’s Amnion. Volcano Manor is an optional legacy dungeon in the Mt. Gelmir region, so this boss is not universally required for game progression. Routes through the manor can vary depending on how you enter and progress.
As you make your way through the lower manor area, look for a lever that raises a bridge. Raising it creates a shorter route back for retries. Continue toward the boss door at the Temple of Eiglay.
How to beat Godskin Noble
This advice applies to the Volcano Manor fight. The Noble uses black flame at range and quick sword attacks up close. In its second phase, it inflates and rolls through the arena.

Manage distance and look for openings
At range, watch for the black-flame attack and be ready to evade rather than assuming distance alone makes you safe. Up close, its quick sword strikes make greedy attack strings risky. Focus on avoiding an attack, then using the opening before returning to defense.
Use pillars carefully
PowerPyx recommends using the arena pillars to create distance or take cover, then attacking during openings. The pillars are not guaranteed protection: melee attacks may reach through or around them. Keep some space from a pillar instead of standing directly against it.

Respond to the second-phase roll
When the Noble inflates and begins rolling, prioritize evasion and staying clear of its path rather than trying to trade attacks. Use the arena to maintain distance, and resume attacking when the roll ends and an opening appears.
Volcano Manor rewards
The Volcano Manor Godskin Noble encounter rewards 50,000 runes, the Godskin Stitcher, and the Noble Presence incantation, according to the reward listings in the community wiki and PowerPyx’s 2022 guide. These rewards belong to this encounter; other Godskin Noble appearances have different drops.

Other Godskin Noble appearances
Godskin Noble is not a single-location boss. The community wiki lists encounters at the Divine Tower of Liurnia and Spiritcaller Cave, as well as the Godskin Duo encounter in Crumbling Farum Azula. Do not assume the Volcano Manor reward list applies to those other appearances.
| Appearance | Role or location | Reward distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Volcano Manor | Standalone boss at the Temple of Eiglay on Mt. Gelmir | 50,000 runes, Godskin Stitcher, and Noble Presence |
| Divine Tower of Liurnia | Godskin Noble encounter at the Divine Tower | Different rewards from the Volcano Manor encounter; the cited community wiki lists the encounter separately. |
| Spiritcaller Cave | Godskin Noble appearance in Spiritcaller Cave | Different rewards from the Volcano Manor encounter; the cited community wiki lists the encounter separately. |
| Crumbling Farum Azula | Appears as part of the Godskin Duo | A duo encounter with its own reward listing, not the Volcano Manor reward set. |
For the Divine Tower, Spiritcaller Cave, and Godskin Duo, the cited results establish that their drops differ but do not provide a complete, comparable reward list here. The community wiki’s encounter listings distinguish those appearances.
