In Where Winds Meet, Enlightenment Points build toward Talent Points, which you spend on eligible nodes in Develop → Talents. The exact conversion rate is not confirmed by the official sources cited here: one secondary guide reports 1,000 Enlightenment Points per Talent Point, so use the progress bar in your current game as the authority.
How Enlightenment Points become Talent Points
Enlightenment Points accumulate as progression credit. When the bar fills, it awards a Talent Point; that Talent Point is then spent to unlock a talent node. They are separate stages of the same progression loop, not interchangeable currencies.
Game8 reports a conversion of 1,000 Enlightenment Points for one Talent Point, but that figure is not confirmed by the official sources cited here. Check the progress bar at the bottom of the Talents screen for the current in-game requirement rather than relying on a guide figure that may be outdated.

The available sources do not establish a complete reward schedule or a fixed amount for any activity. Check your Enlightenment progress in the Talents screen as you play.
How to spend a Talent Point
- Open the main menu and choose Develop, then Talents.
- Select the Basic, Arena, or Boss branch that matches what you want to unlock or improve.
- Choose a node and read its effect, point or material cost, prerequisites, and any stated mode or encounter scope.
- If you meet every requirement, spend the Talent Point on the node.
- Check the relevant action, stat, activity, or encounter to understand the effect in context.
Having a Talent Point does not automatically meet a node’s other requirements. A node may also require an earlier talent, Solo Mode progress, Martial Mastery, or a specific encounter objective.

These branch descriptions come from an independent guide, not an official in-game manual. Treat a branch-specific effect as scoped to that branch unless the node says otherwise; an Arena or Boss talent is not necessarily a universal combat bonus.
Mystic Skill slots and exploration skills
Independent guides describe Mystic Skill slot unlocks among the Basic Talents. They also give point thresholds, but those exact thresholds are not verified by official sources here; inspect the current node requirements in-game before planning around a number.

You have a point, but the node is locked
Read every requirement shown on the node. A prerequisite talent or progression threshold can still block it even when you have an available Talent Point.

You bought a talent but cannot see an effect
Check whether the node unlocks an action or improves an existing one, then confirm that you are using the relevant action or playing within the mode or encounter named by the node.
A Boss objective did not register
Compare the talent’s exact objective with the boss version, mode, and reward-claim step. In its Version 2.2 patch notes, published September 15, 2026, the official site described an improvement to Boss talent tracking so reward claims after a Guild Hero’s Realm clear are recorded for both bosses.
