To zoom Roblox’s camera on a laptop, press I to zoom in and O to zoom out. If you mean scrolling through a menu or panel, use your laptop’s usual touchpad scrolling gesture over that content instead.
Zoom the camera with your keyboard or mouse
Roblox’s default camera controls list the I and O keys as keyboard zoom controls, so you can use them when your laptop has no mouse wheel. With an external mouse, scroll its wheel to zoom the camera in or out; the Roblox control listing does not specify which wheel direction produces each result. Roblox Creator Docs: camera controls.
Use a supported laptop trackpad
On supported laptops, try pinching with two fingers to zoom, or moving two fingers to control the camera. Roblox described these gestures as controls for supported laptops in a September 4, 2019 announcement; behavior can vary by laptop, operating system, trackpad driver, and experience. Adjust the camera view separately from zooming
In Classic camera mode, hold the right mouse button and drag to change your avatar’s vantage point. This changes the view; it is different from using I/O or a scroll wheel to zoom. Some experiences may lock the camera mode, so the controls available to you can depend on the experience. If the camera does not respond as expected, open the in-experience menu and check its camera settings or help. Roblox Support: In-experience Settings and Help.

Scroll through menus and panels
Menu scrolling is not camera zoom. Hover over the panel or content and use your touchpad’s normal scrolling gesture or a mouse wheel. Roblox also documents PageUp and PageDown for scrolling a selected ScrollingFrame while UI selection mode is active; these are not general gameplay camera controls. If you are trying to manage gear rather than change the camera or scroll a panel, open Inventory from the in-game menu. Roblox Support describes Inventory as the place to rearrange gear; opening it does not change camera zoom. Roblox Support: How to Use Your Inventory.
