Why different sites may show different times
Completion-time listings depend on the game record and category being compared. Stash also has a separate entry for the original Tomb Raider (2013), based on 240 answers, with averages of 11 h 30 m for the main story, 14 h 24 m for the story plus extras, and 22 h for 100%. Those numbers belong to the original game’s record, not an exact Definitive Edition estimate. Source
Acclaimed Video Games reproduces HowLongToBeat estimates for the original Tomb Raider of approximately 11 hours for the main story, 16 hours for the main story plus extra content, and 21 hours for 100% completion. These are also not Definitive Edition-specific figures, and the reproduction does not state a date. Source

Is this the 2013 Tomb Raider?
Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is the 2014 edition of the 2013 game, not Rise of the Tomb Raider or Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Crystal Dynamics says it was released on January 28, 2014, rebuilt for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and includes all DLC and digital bonus materials. Its official page does not provide a completion-time estimate. Source
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How long does 100% completion take?
A precise 100% completion estimate for the Definitive Edition is not established by the available Stash result. The 22-hour and 21-hour figures sometimes associated with Tomb Raider refer to the original game’s entry, not this edition, so they should not be treated as a confirmed Definitive Edition runtime. A completionist run will depend on how thoroughly you explore and collect optional items, but there is no edition-specific number here to quote confidently.
