To find the Dragon Communion location in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, travel through Dragon’s Pit and follow the road east, then south, to the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion. The Dragon Communion Priestess waits beside the altar.
Start at Three-Path Cross
- Begin at the Three-Path Cross Site of Grace and cross Ellac Greatbridge to the northeast.
- At the junction beyond the bridge, take the road south toward Dragon’s Pit.
Get through Dragon’s Pit
Enter the dungeon and make your way through it. To leave by the route to the altar, defeat Ancient Dragon-Man. Continue out the far side of the dungeon.
Follow the road to the Grand Altar
- After exiting Dragon’s Pit, head east.
- When the path splits near the dragon, take the south branch. It leads to the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion, where the Dragon Communion Priestess is standing.
What to do when you reach the altar
Speak with the Priestess and follow her dialogue about consuming draconic essence. Her conversation points you toward Bayle the Dread. The location guide also says you can receive an Ancient Dragon Blessing, with only one held at a time.
The Priestess’s line at the altar begins: “Landbound warrior. My lord, Placidusax, has shown your kind what must be done. Seek communion.” The complete location entry is available on the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion page.
