To update Roblox on an Amazon Fire tablet set up with Amazon Kids, switch to the adult or parent profile, update Roblox through the Amazon Appstore, then switch back to the child profile. This parent-managed route is recommended by Amazon staff for cases where a child profile blocks an app update.
Update Roblox from the parent profile

From the child profile, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the profile icon.

Select the adult or parent profile and enter the account password or PIN if prompted.

Open the Amazon Appstore, search for Roblox, and open its app listing. Tap Update if that option appears. Amazon staff have recommended updating from the adult profile when Amazon Kids blocks an update in the child profile; menu names can vary by Fire OS version. When the update finishes, use the profile control to return to the child profile and open Roblox.
If Roblox is missing from the child profile
Check the child profile’s content and store-access settings on the tablet or in the Amazon Kids Parent Dashboard. Amazon says parents can manage child-profile content through the dashboard and device settings, including store access and adding or removing content. If the update button is missing or Roblox still will not open
Check whether the Fire tablet is supported
Roblox lists these minimum supported Amazon Fire models: Fire 7 (9th generation), Fire HD 8 (8th generation), Fire HD 10 (9th generation), and Fire Max 11 (13th generation). Roblox also cautions that newly released devices or operating-system versions may not be supported immediately. If your tablet is older than the listed generations, the problem may be compatibility rather than the child-profile update restriction. Check Roblox’s system requirements.
Check Fire OS and its system updates
To see the Fire OS version, swipe down to Quick Settings and open More > Device > About. Amazon says Fire tablets automatically download software updates when connected to the internet. For model-specific details or manual update instructions, use Amazon’s Fire Tablet Software Updates page; avoid applying firmware instructions intended for a different model.

Force-stop Roblox
If Roblox remains stuck after the app update, Roblox’s Fire OS troubleshooting guidance includes force-stopping it. Open Settings > Apps & Games > Manage All Applications > Roblox > Force Stop, then try launching the app again. See Roblox troubleshooting guidance.
Reinstall only as a later step
Roblox says reinstalling from an official store installs a fresh copy at the latest version. Before removing the app, make sure you know the Roblox account login and consider whether any local app data could be lost. Reinstall from the Amazon Appstore rather than downloading an APK from an unofficial site.

Why the parent-profile method matters
Amazon Kids restricts what a child profile can access. The documented update route is for a parent to perform the Appstore action from the adult profile and then return the tablet to the child profile—not to disable parental controls or grant unrestricted access.
