You can no longer earn the Katalina cosmetics through their mobile XP quest: Epic’s final deadline was December 10, 2024, at 2 AM ET. Epic said the items would later be sold in the Fortnite Shop to all players, but a current listing or price is not confirmed. Check the in-game Shop for availability.
What Katalina items did the quest offer?
The Fortnite mobile quest awarded four cosmetics as players reached cumulative XP milestones. Epic’s 2024 announcement listed them in this order:
| # | Preview | Product | Price | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 |
|
Fortnite eGift Card | $50.00 | Buy on Amazon |
| 2 |
|
Fortnite eGift Card | $25.00 | Buy on Amazon |
| 3 |
|
Fortnite Physical Gift Card | $30.00 | Buy on Amazon |
| 4 |
|
Fortnite eGift Card | $15.00 | Buy on Amazon |
| 5 |
|
Fortnite Physical Gift Card | $50.00 | Buy on Amazon |
| Cumulative XP earned | Reward |
|---|---|
| 25,000 XP | Tactical Kat Wrap |
| 50,000 XP | Kat Claws Pickaxe |
| 75,000 XP | Katalina’s Kit Bag Back Bling |
| 100,000 XP | Katalina Outfit |
These were earned-XP thresholds for the mobile quests. Epic’s announcement did not specify a required game mode or say players had to make a purchase to reach them.
Can you still complete the Katalina quest?
No. Epic updated its original announcement on October 4, 2024, extending the quest cutoff to December 10, 2024, at 2 AM ET. Epic Support lists the same cutoff as December 10, 2024, at 08:00 CET. The quest has ended, so earning XP now will not unlock its rewards through that promotion.

Could players on Android or iPhone participate?
During the campaign, Epic allowed participation in the Fortnite mobile app on Android worldwide, and on Android or iPhone in the European Union. Epic Support also confirms that platform and region scope in its Katalina-items support article.
For iPhone users, Epic’s August 2024 announcement described installing Fortnite through the Epic Games Store marketplace, passing Apple’s EU region check, using iOS 17.6 or newer, and using Safari during installation. Those were the instructions in that dated announcement, not a guarantee of current installation requirements. In any case, installing the game now cannot reopen the expired quest.

How can you get the Katalina items now?
Epic stated that the quest rewards were not exclusive to the quests and would be available for purchase in the Shop for all Fortnite players at a later date. That statement establishes Epic’s announced plan, but does not confirm whether any item is in the Shop today, what it costs, or when it may return. Check the current in-game Shop; buying a phone or accessory will not unlock the expired quest rewards.
