To add a customer in Schedule I, first make sure someone in your Contacts network knows them, then find them on your phone’s map and offer a free sample. A sample that matches the prospect’s preferred effects and quality requirements is more likely to work, but no verified success percentage is available. New districts expand the pool of prospects; reaching a district does not automatically add everyone there as a customer.
How to unlock a customer
- Find a connected prospect. Open your phone’s map and check the contact connections. You need at least one of the prospect’s contacts in your own network; approaching an unconnected NPC at random will not establish the required referral. PCGamesN’s customer guide and the XGamingServer customer database describe this connection-based process.
- Prepare a suitable sample. Check the prospect’s preferred effects and their minimum quality standard. Matching a preferred effect and meeting the quality requirement improves the chance of acceptance. The sources do not establish exact sample odds.
- Locate them and offer the sample. Use the phone/map to find the prospect and give them a product as a free sample. A successful offer adds them to your customer list. If they reject it, try another sample on a later in-game day.
- Use new customers to reach more prospects. Once someone joins your network, check their contacts for the next set of potential customers. Rank progression opens more regional prospects, but you still need to make the connection and sample each person individually.
Which districts open as you rank up?
Guides report the following district gates. These unlock access to a region’s potential customer pool; they are not a checklist that automatically makes every resident a customer. Higher-tier areas are also reported to have stricter quality standards.
| District | Reported access gate | Reported customer standards |
|---|---|---|
| Northtown | Starting area/tutorial | Beginning customer pool |
| Westville | Hoodlum | Low |
| Downtown | Hustler | Moderate for most customers |
| The Docks | Enforcer | Generally moderate |
| Suburbia | Block Boss | High |
| Uptown | Baron | High; late progression |
These rank gates and standards are reported in XGamingServer’s district guide; confirm them against your game build, since Schedule I is updated over time.
Why a prospect may be hard to find
A district is a prospect’s home or usual area, not a guarantee that they will stay at one fixed location. Characters follow daily routines, so check the phone/map again if someone is not where you expect. Avoid relying on a fixed coordinate unless it has been confirmed for your game version and the time of day.

Can you unlock every customer from a complete list?
Not reliably from one published roster. PCGamesN’s April 2025 guide lists named customers and preferred effects, while the XGamingServer database, accessed in 2026, labels its roster “54 of 54.” The two lists do not fully match, and the database warns that its community-sourced information may not reflect the latest patches. That database count is its own table count, not an independently verified total for the game.
Use named rosters as a version-dated reference rather than a definitive checklist. Check disputed names and effects in your in-game phone before planning samples. The reliable general method remains to expand your contact network, meet each prospect, and offer an appropriate sample.
